Did well today. He’s been made more of a scapegoat than any of our players including sancho. Mentally strong to take all the criticism he has and still step onto the pitch with confidence.

I really don´t want him here, but fair is fair. Best United player today.

I hope he can regain some stability after this confidence boost of today. He is a much more useful CB than Lindelof, and we will need him with Martinez out.

Faultless performance and a great assist for the winner.
Erik will be thinking about getting that armband back of Bruno and giving it to Harry.

Solid shift today. He's still pretty slow even for a CB but he read the game well and made no mistakes that I can think of.

How shite has Varane been for the club when we can safely say Maguire has done more good for the club than he has??

Rather have Maguire than that mercenary.

Probably the MOTM today, not that this is saying much. When you need to tighten up at the back, he's not a bad player to have in the building. It's when you try and play a high line and passing out from the back that he becomes a liability, but it's not like we're doing that at the moment anyway.

Great shift but he won't survive against a quick attacking side like Spurs, Arsenal or City. Don't get too carried away. But then again we could say that for our entire defence.

We did not play high line last season neither. I am starting to think ETH’s vision maybe unnecessarily complicated.

Honestly I think him and Evans have earned the starting CB roles for a few matches - Martinez is out, Lindelof has been a disaster recently really, and Varane has been well below his usual standards too, while Maguire and Evans were brought a calmness today that we've lacked recently throughout the team, as well as at the back.

Seemed to really drink in those celebrations after the winner. Maybe being a vital part of such a big goal will settle him. Who the feck knows though I’m probably being optimistic. No way that game turns United’s fortunes around…right?

He had a good game. wish we hadn’t paid so much for him he is a solid squad player in my opinion.

The best answer to the critics is to put in performances like that.

I'm no fan but he was great yesterday. Him and Evans worked well together and I loved his aggression.

Reading through the last couple of pages its clear there was never any "agenda" against him. When the performances are better he gets his praise.

His fee and wages are of no concern to me now. Harry put in a very solid shift and had a massive role in the match winner.

He’s always been better than Lindelof.

Hopefully he can have a few good/solid games for England and can firmly move out of meme territory for the time being.

He had a good game against Brentford, they did sit back and defend though.

Have to admire his attitude for not moaning and sulking, unlike others in the squad.

Did well, but he looks slow and the fact that Brentford are missing Toney and struggling in tge league measn we should take this performance with a pinch of salt. He should still go in January

there's no point getting rid if we can't replace him. which we clearly won't be able to do in Jan.

30 million should be able to get a younger replacement. Maguire has just under 2 years left on his contract and is 30 years of age, we need to cash in.

we aren't spending that on a centre back in Jan, but even still it probably won't get you much better than Maguire. He's here until next summer.

What he needs now are games like these where he comes in, does his job, doesn't do anything extra and goes home. That's the best way to rebuild his confidence and reputation.
