Lucky that he has arrived at a time when our attacking potential can render defensive mistakes footnotes. Previous CB's have not been allowed that luxury.
He’s been great for pretty much every game of our current good run. Hilarious how that one move by the Bournemouth player brings out the knives
The nutmeg really doesn't look good on him. He seems to be playing for a completely different team right now. We thought we were getting a version of VVD when we bought him but he isn't that at all.
Did you not read “pretty much”? Bergwijn shouldn’t have scored if De Gea didn’t feck up.Did you not watch the Spurs game when Bergwijn roasted him and scored?
Did anyone really think so? If yes, did they ever watch Maguire play football before? The nutmeg really doesn't look good on him. He seems to be playing for a completely different team right now. We thought we were getting a version of VVD when we bought him but he isn't that at all.

You talking about the Matic pass to Bailly?Complacent display. Poor passing got us into trouble.
“Pretty much” read the post. People aren’t just mentioning something he did wrong. A poster just called him a “total joke”When he does something wrong it is mentioned. Remember how Bergwijn made him look a while ago?
Maguire isnt the worldclass defender some here believe him to be. He is a good premier league defender with weak points.
Would have been a decent fourth choice when United was fighting for titles. As a captain and 80m player, a total joke.
It was a shocking, badly timed challenge, nothing to do with that. Made 2 errors leading to goals today, gaving the ball away in the build up to the 2nd too.We just have to accept that he’s a bit slow and opposition attackers are always going to be able to get past him with a skill move.
I don't think he is significantly better than Smallingor Lindeloff (actually, I think if he is better at all than them, it is marginal).A bit of an exaggeration, but I see where you’re coming from. Nowhere near a Vidic, Stam or Ferdinand but he’s the best centre half we’ve had for a long time. He needs a quick partner next to him so if he is isolated he can be bailed out.
He is better than Lindelof and Smalling ..I don't think he is significantly better than Smallingor Lindeloff (actually, I think if he is better at all than them, it is marginal).
Oh so now our goalie has to cover for our mega star's deficiencies?Did you not read “pretty much”? Bergwijn shouldn’t have scored if De Gea didn’t feck up.
That's the crazy thing. Both from the media and some fans, he has a shield. Every goal-conceding mistake he makes, it is someone else fault. As it is every mistake is just blamed on other players not covering for him being useless as hey he is our Harry and a "leader "
