Harry Kane to err Manchester United?! | articles based on 'flurry of bets' scams

Can't wait for Glaston to enter this thread.

That's gunna be fun.

Looks guys, Kane may well leave if we don't win anything/progress this season, it's possible. He's too good to stay in a club who wins no trophies long term, but come on.. he's not moving this summer. It's just a complete non starter of a transfer window story in which Paddy Power are tricking gullible idiots in to throwing away their money. The Sun isn't even worth considering as a source the utter scumbags.

For £0.25bn maybe.
Right?! I can't believe people are putting money on this! It IS going to cost a little more than the GDP of a small country to prise him from Spurs now. Especially after being a world cup golden boot winner? Not a chance in heck.

This would be worth it just to witness Glaston's reaction, it would register on the richter scale.
But what was Zlatan referring to? Could it, could it maybe happen?

Didn't he sign a new deal not long ago? And Real will be circling the moment they hear that Kane is available.

He'd score feck all goals for us with no service.

You scored 6 goals less than us last season, it's not as if he'd be moving to Huddersfield. He would score goals at any club in the league. In his breakthrough season we were absolute muck and he was being provided for by Lamela, Chadli, Paulinho and Bentaleb and still managed 22 league goals despite not being our starting striker when the season kicked off. He's also a lot better now than then.

It won't even work, three players in the middle with zero width. Kane and Lukaku are going to get in each other's way

Perhaps United have pictures of Levy in a compromising situation.

Genuinely think there's more chance of Levy giving you one of his kidneys.

I don't see the funny side, to be honest.
Imo, this is fraud.

It wouldn't even remotely make sense for you, Lukaku is a very good striker who had an excellent world cup. You have some good (on paper) forward players in Rashford, Sanchez, Lukaku, Martial etc, that clearly isn't your priority. To blow an absolute fortune on another striker who really isn't such a big step up from Lukaku would be horrific management.

May I refer you to the 'I Don't Understand Our Transfer Strategy' thread.

Yeah, I feel like it's very arguable that this is a story being manufactured in order for Paddy Power to trick naive people in to betting. Very dodgy.

Sensible post

Martial + Cash for Kane...

It makes no sense because we already have Lukaku, but this happening would be amazing.

Straight swap for Martial

Of course this isn't happening, but I wonder what Zlatan was referring to a few days ago...

The article says according to the bookies while it doesn't take much to shift odds in from big outsider.
Maybe a few Londoners fell for a mouth down the pub. That's all it takes

Well that's settled then, the club are definitely buying him!

I agree, we'd be better off spending big on a top class winger.
