Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

Huh? Unless he's planning to stay in Germany for 8 years then neither he nor his kids will be getting a passport out of it.
Kane could literally buy an EU passport overnight with one of the golden visa routes. Maybe his future isn’t with Bayern but with some Eastern Mediterranean club?

He already has the right to Irish citizenship like Jude Bellingham.

It is what I observed *shrug* can't remember one single top player who was transferred somewhere where he didn't want to go. Some with running contracts were refused a transfer but even that is rare.
Bayern have a privileged position in germany. They aren't a normal case.
Leaving that aside, the premier league operates differently than most other leagues in recent years. West Ham are loaded, forget Spurs.
Leaving that aside, Levy has a hate boner for United, he doesn't sell to us. He's difficult at the best of times and has blocked transfers dozens of times in recent years (he's basically infamous for making 'gentlemen's agreements' that he breaks).
He's so good at avoiding selling his best players thats its circled around to being a liability. Because you'd have to be completely stupid to join them as a stepping stone to anywhere else and they regularly have a bunch of pissed off players who want to move on. If or when he sells a player its for an extortionate amount but so late in the window that they're impossible to replace. They'll probably sell Kane 5 minutes before the end of the transfer window for an even larger amount than the numbers floating around at the minute and replace him with Weghorst or something stupid, thats how Levy rolls.

I feel it is far from done, if it was really close why risk him in a friendly days before he leaves? Makes little sense, though it is Levy pulling the strings.

Bayern have been trying to get the price much lower but Spurs will hold out for a certain fee, once reached he will be sold. Kane will play until Bayern get serious with their bids, which might have happened if the rumours are true.

There's a new law coming in soon which will reduce it to 5. But still, it seems unlikely Kane would stay there so long.

It may have slipped your attentlion that i wasn't writing about, or even mentioning, Bayern. I was talking about top players in general. They tend to go where *they* want, not their club manager, not even their agent (which in Harrys case, i think, is his brother?)

You might not have intended to but it was a post only a Bayern supporter would put out. And your still wrong. Kane will go where Levy wants. Same as Bale and Modric did.
Kane wanted to go to City last season. He wanted a transfer the year before too. By most accounts he wanted to stay in the premier league. Rice has been looking for a move for about 3 years. Modric wanted to go to Chelsea. Caicedo wanted a move in january. Neymar's been trying to get out of Paris for years. Theres dozens of examples of teams keeping hold of players against their wishes. Theres dozens of examples of Levy keeping hold of players against their wishes.
He's joining Bayern because they're not spurs, thinking they're his first choice dream move is copium.

Depends.

Shareholders would love him. Fans on the other hand....
I think it's actually quite the opposite. There may be some novelty in pretending to be a huge club, refusing to sell to City/United/Chelsea because you perceive to be fighting for titles with them and demanding £1bn for a soon to be out of contract player, which may be enjoyable for a fan but not so much for someone that actually has stake in the club.

Glad this saga looks to be over, shame we won't ever get to see him in a Utd shirt though

I think there's a touch of bias in mocking Levy supposed intent "not to sell to a rival, as if Spurs was a contender" etc
Spurs may be a couple notches below but they're still competing for the upper third table. I would think twice about reinforcing the competition and make the divide even larger.

We'll see what actual fee Bayern had put to the table but I'm not sure English clubs would have offered much better valuations.

Levy will sell Kane if he doesn't sign a new contract. The reason he still hasn't signed for anyone is probably more to do with Kane than Levy. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes but as soon as Kane says I'm not signing a new contract he'll be gone within a week.

Now he's off the market still hope we go and get Toney in January, now there is a proven goalscorer albeit not available for a bit

Ah so on your opinion, when Kane came to Lewy and said "I want to go to Munich next season", Lewy could have said "bollocks to that I'm selling out to Al Ryad because they pay double" Kane would have had to go? Whether he liked it or not? Nope I don't think so mate, it doesn't work this way, and not only in Munich.

ffs...i hope no good player will ever extend or sign for that cnut Levy again

Kane gave you most of his best years despite offers from better clubs.
Now you are offered over 100 million for a 30 year old player that wants to go and you don't let him. feck off...

Pay the asking price or go away.
You aren’t buying from Dortmund now.

So happy we have moved on and won’t let us fool ourselves in this kind of sagas this summer. Bravo!

Well, some PL club is going to get the bargain of the century next summer when they sign Kane for free.

Levy is an idiot. Last chance to get good money for him AND with the key bonus of sending him away from the PL where he wont make your supporters feel like shit watching him score for a rival every week.

Now he’s going to get NO money for him AND likely watch your club legend lacing them up for a rival. Just stubborn to a fault.

Unlikely but imagine he ended up at Arsenal

Levy wouldn't be able to set foot in the Spurs Stadium

Who says he wants to go ?
Do you think if Levy accepted Bayern's offer, Kane is going to turn round and say "actually I don't fancy moving, sorry Bayern you should have checked with me first".

Bayern aren't spending their entire summer chasing a player who's told them he doesn't want to join them.

According to reports our latest offer is very close to the initial asking price including bonuses.
So between Bayerns first offer and Levys initial asking price we now moved almost aaaaall the way towards the asking price.

I'm mad as a Bayern fan but if i were Kane i'd be furious.
