GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony

You're right autosave only came in on the PS3, you used to have to go back to the safe house to save your game.

You have no choice after completing the main story, no more autosave after than as far as I remember.

I remember loading the game and it popping up with the info thing telling me that auto save was enabled and thinking 'brilliant, no more deleting my progress by accident'!

Just beat this. Brilliant game, Lopez is my favourite character out of the three playable ones. I actually enjoyed this more than both GTA4 and TLAD.

I prefer it. It's not as serious, features better characters, and there is more variation in the missions. You can really get up to some outlandish shit. Better weapons, too.

Yes, but not as good as TBOGT. It's probably on a par with GTA4. One thing I didn't particularly care for, is the slight change in graphical style they implemented in order to make it more "gritty." To me, it just looks slightly foggy. It's not a major gripe, though.

Rumours it will be announced at E3 next month.

Rockstar could be gearing up to unleash the first glimpse of Grand Theft Auto V at next month's E3 show.

That's according to EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich, who confidently predicts that the next GTA will show up in non-playable form in preparation for a 2011 release.

"I think we're going to hear about another Grand Theft Auto. I think there won't be any playable stuff. I think they'll give you some type of teaser, because we do think that a year from then in 2011 we're going to see another Grand Theft Auto," He told Game Informer.

GTA IV appeared on PS3, 360 and PC, although 360 held time exclusivity to the download expansions (The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony). Divnich went on to explain why he doubts there'll be any exclusivity next time around: "I don't foresee Microsoft or Sony attempting to obtain any type of exclusivity with the next Grand Theft Auto.

"Microsoft paid a lot of money for exclusivity on the downloadable content for GTA IV, which unfortunately did little to move consoles for Microsoft. Back in 2004, the Grand Theft Auto was a huge brand, but only relative to the other brands that existed at the time.

"While the GTA brand is certainly bigger now than it was five years ago, others have emerged to reach similar levels of success, such as Call of Duty or Guitar Hero. In other words, if Sony gets an exclusive deal on GTA V, it would do little to disrupt Microsoft's ability to move hardware, and vice versa."

This isn't the first time analysts have pointed to an imminent revealing for GTA 5, with Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey saying back in March that Rockstar is building up to a pre-E3 announcement.

I doubt it mate, but that part was purely optional. I went through the entire game without going to play darts with a friend or go on a helicopter tour. The only time i did it was when i had to right at the start.

San Andreas was fantastic in my opinion. Again weights and hairstyles are all optional and shouldn't put you off a game, it's like a review i read about Rogue Galaxy that said there was too much to do. Too much to do? Bull, if you want to you can spend hours faffing about buying all the clothes to make you look like a pimp but it doesn't impact on how the game plays or played out. Personally i like all the little extras, gives you something to do when the game is finished other than blow shit up. I'm just annoyed they got rid of planes for GTA 4.

Imagine flying the hydra in HD

 yea he was quality, and also probably the most useful person to have a good respect level with seeing as he was a mobile gun store!

The dude in TBoGT sells much better guns.

I finished this about 2 weeks ago on the PS3 disc release, but yet still find myself playing it just for the Electro Choc radio station.

This and LCHC were greatly improved from the original GTA IV soundtrack

LCHC definitely. At the Gates, Entombed, Bathory, Sepultura, Kreator....quality.

Liberty Rock Radio.

It has Heaven and Hell. That is all I need.
