Surprisingly one-sided...

Harsh on GS in terms of votes, no doubt. It's the way it goes sometimes, though - votes not reflecting the actual strength of either the fielded teams or the points made.

For me it's simply a matter of GS not being able to contain the attacking force of the opponent, mainly the threat Maradona would pose here. But that just means Skizzo n' Pat win - it doesn't mean they walk all over GS, not by any stretch. It's a 2-1 or thereabouts, I'd say.

A pleasant surprise that my team goes this far. Although practical, it lacks appeal to the voters. To me, this is more about getting to know players that people seldom mentioned about: Janes, Gerson, Santamaria, or even Littbarksi. Never have I been so absorbed in football draft. Great experience and I've learnt quite a lot

I don't mind it now anymore with a real number 9 upfront. As I said, I prefer Eusebio himself in a 2nd striker role and with Gullit and Maradona as a front three it didn't really work for me, not at all. With van Basten, as wonderful as the van Basten - Gullit combo was, it's a no-brainer that Eusebio starts here.

Don't go overboard with the praise now mate .

Great job mate. I think that is the best team with Di Stefano in it that I have seen. I wanted to be the one trying to create a team around him but honestly couldn't find a creative way to do it. You did an excellent job with it and I think Muller and Di Stefano in the same team would be an absolute bitch to play against for any defense.

The only negative I could think if is that you could have focused more on Di Stefano as a free-roled striker rather than using him against the opponents best attackers in the defense. Tough though, he's so well rounded that he could basically do any role great and the urge to use him to counter your opponents tactics must be hard to resist.

I think the only area you need to upgrade is CM. Rijkaard in your team will be brilliant
