Here's some data for Bundesliga creative players i had saved from Kicker assist ratings if anyone is interested. They started collecting them from the 88/89 season. League only.
Thomas Häßler:
Koln:
88/89 = 33-3
89/90 = 34-5
Karlsruher:
94/95 = 33-13
95/96 = 34-10
96/97 = 17-5
97/98 = 34-12
Borussia Dortmund:
98/99 = 18-1
1860 Munich:
99/00 = 33-9
00/01 = 32-7
01/02 = 29-12
02/03 = 21-4
Andreas Möller:
Borussia Dortmund:
88/89 = 29-7
89/90 = 32-14
94/95 = 30-9
95/96 = 23-13
96/97 = 26-14
97/98 = 26-4
98/99 = 30-9
99/00 = 18-3
Eintracht Frankfurt:
90/91 = 32-8
91/92 = 37-10
03/04 = 11-0
Schalke:
00/01 = 32-11
01/02 = 32-3
02/03 = 22-4
Stefan Effenberg:
Borussia Monchengladbach:
88/89 = 29-5
89/90 = 29-2
94/95 = 30-11
95/96 = 31-6
96/97 = 29-6
97/98 = 28-8
Bayern Munich:
90/91 = 32-4
91/92 = 33-7
98/99 = 31-5
99/00 = 27-12
00/01 = 20-5
01/02 = 17-3
Wolfsburg:
02/03 = 19-4
Olaf Thon:
Bayern Munich:
88/89 = 32-11
89/90 = 20-3
90/91 = 25-5
91/92 = 24-6
92/93 = 32-1
93/94 = 15-2
Pierre Littbarski:
Koln:
88/89 = 30-11
89/90 = 34-11
90/91 = 15-6
91/92 = 36-13
92/93 = 26-10
Uwe Bein:
Hamburg:
88/89 = 28-7
Eintrach Frankfurt:
89/90 = 33-11
90/91 = 31-15
91/92 = 34-16
92/93 = 25-17
93/94 = 27-6
Mostly good productivity for what are more midfield oriented players, usually not having the benefit of greats (or even very goods) in front of them. Littbarski was a side-midfielder at that time, but still obviously very directly creative. Thon moved to the sweeper role by the end of his Bayern stage, so i didn't bother with his Schalke stats; he suffers from his initial Schalke period, where he was the young phenom of the league being absent. His career incidentally reminds me of Mario Gotze, though Thon's faded through injuries before his sweeper revival with Schalke, where Gotze had a specific debilitating condition.
