Let's pick goals and assists then.
Rashford: 55 goals and 30 assists in 179 appearances by the age of 23.
Grealish: 15 goals and 16 assists in 96 appearances by the age of 25.
Yeah so much better "objectively".
But but but those calves!

Funny that isn’t it, we sign Sanchez on a player transfer and the media run every single penny.Anyone in media run with the total cost of transfer type article yet?
City will pay him a very sensible wage. I am sure he will be fine as I suspect the UAE tourism board will offer him 20 million a year for his undoubted expertise in state infastructure.
They do also pay players off books...
Sensible wage structure? What does that mean?
I know they do, and I thought, wrongly, that others would have the intelligence to read between the lines.
But for arguments sake, you wouldn’t find a player like Lingard, for example, being paid by City what Utd have paid him.
Their wage structure isn’t as much of a laughable clusterf**k as the one that emerged at Utd under Woodward, is it?
Grealish is objectively better than "Rashy" by almost any player attribute you want to pick.
As the poster said, magic will be required for that. This is the key for Ole. A system that allows Pogba and Bruno to play in midfield is what will give us a chance of competing for the title.
So the 3 would be,As the poster said, magic will be required for that.
Best we can expect is them playing together in the line of three behind the striker in our 4231. Add Sancho and give them all freedom to interchange and we could be onto something.

To be honest the only time this has been alleged was Mancini over a decade ago. Since then, we haven't heard anything or seen any evidence. We can't just conclude this as fact.
We haven't seen any more evidence of off the books payments as they are now better at hiding it. Scammers always come up with more sophisticated ways to scam. It was a rookie mistake on their part in the first place to talk about financial corruption over E-Mail whilst having poor IT Security.
Players like Aguero & Silva gave their best years to City. Their was never anything in the press intimating that they were thinking of moving on despite the fact that they could have doubled/trebled their reported salaries if they'd asked for transfers. There is never any brinkmanship from City players when they are due to renew contracts. It happens at every other club though.
Sky reporting that Villa offered him higher wages than he's going to get at City, that has to be bullshit right?
Because they're such a well run club who happen to prefer paying wages in brown envelopes left in train station lockers. That's all.Star players try to shake down their clubs for better wages. It happens with us and the likes of Madrid and Barsa over the years despite them paying stupendous wages to top level players.
But you never hear about City players doing it.
Hmm, I wonder why?
Damn if I knew what it is Football was simple when I started watching. Apparently Grealish carry the ball forward? I don't know but this is the stat his lovers love to highlight in this thread. Is that not just considered, well, dribbling?
Wasn't one of the first things City did when the takeover happened was to setup a "PR" program. I thought I read articles in the past about them inviting members of the media and essentially lobbying for their positive coverage in the media?
This whole "City can't afford" narrative is obviously fake. maybe they don't want to pay certain players certain salaries but it's not because they can't afford it. They've been caught paying people under the table before.

And how does that compare to lets say Sancho? And how a stat capture what is pressure situation and what isn't? Seems like another random state like xG or whatever it is called. Its not dribbling, its his ability to take the ball under pressure and drive with it is very good. That is what everyone means by that.

No they're poor remember?
He's likely speaking from a wage perspective too. Grealish is apparently joining city on wages less than what was offered by Villa in the renewed deal.
Always forget how good Ashely Young was for Villa

Maguire was definitely from a fee perspective, Sanchez would be wage. He's likely speaking from a wage perspective too. Grealish is apparently joining city on wages less than what was offered by Villa in the renewed deal.
They prob didn't just rate Maguire as high as 80m. But they do with Grealish.Maguire was definitely from a fee perspective, Sanchez would be wage.
What about going down when an opponent blows on them?Let's pick goals and assists then.

If nothing else he will greatly contribute to the number of penalties they will win next season.
How many did he win for Villa?
It seems like the type of fouls he wins, refs arr more likely to give him fouls outside the box than inside. Especially when this season, they're being asked to up the threshold for a pen after last year's record pens
