What's the obsession with this game ? I don't think it's the best GTA
The online part is what people love.

Thanks for the spoilers. With Arthur yeah... After that, feck the game. Spend fecking hours making the right choices, building him up, for that. Made me feel empty and just wanted to get to the end of the game.
Thanks for the spoilers.
For me this really rams home the point that the online side of things has fecked the single player game.
They’re making so much money and maintaining such a high level of regular users on the existing platform they’re just not arsed about VI.
So annoying.
What's the best way to make money?Bought gta 5 today for 13 quid on the ps4. Good deal. Plus an extra mil a month till ps5 release. Kinda mad at the same time. Was on level 100 when I had the game at the start on ps4. My friends are all on xbox, so I traded in the ps4 version only after I bought the xbox they never came on for it once so I grinded it again. Now have everything. But now once again buying the ps4 version. Here we go again hah.
Dan Houser?Didn’t they sack the main man for development of the game shortly after 5 was launched as he wanted single player DLC’s and they wanted money.
I just double checked this myself it was Leslie benzies, a producer on all the major games up till gta 5, he left and then sued there ownersDan Houser?
I don't think he was fired but him leaving may represent a difference in mentality when it comes to video games.
I forgot about that. It's quite sad to see these R* OG's leave. I fear the direction the series could head in without them. I think Sam Houser is still at R* but the shift to online micro-transaction heavy gaming seems apparent and I don't think that will change in GTA 6. While having new people and new ideas can be good, I think that they'll go for whoever will keep the money rolling in rather than an innovator.I just double checked this myself it was Leslie benzies, a producer on all the major games up till gta 5, he left and then sued there owners
Heist. Lots of it. Especially the casino one. Theres a good payday for that one on hard. Plus you can go into a private lobby yourself and do the setups missions by yourself so no one tries to blow you up. Take a bit of time but its worth it.What's the best way to make money?
It’s not just that wouldn’t the game on ps5 be basically running on the same engine as it was on ps3, there was people giving out that there wouldn’t be a destiny 3 and not getting a new game engine on the new consoles instead we get DLC’s, but it’s at least something new and added content most of what rockstar has done with online is gimmicksI forgot about that. Dan left in 2020. Think by then most of the writing and stuff would have been done for the next (possibly final) game in the series.Dan Houser?

Depends on your perspective. There are plenty of people who mainly enjoy the single player modes and don't care for the online stuff. For them, it's definitely a franchise that's stood still.GTA V has way more content than the others, people will say "but I could explore GTA 3 for hours" yeah, but at the same time you can explore 5 for 10x as long, as there is much much more. Add in the online content and you're away with it.
People are thinking too nostalgic for stuff like this. Nothing wrong with a game lasting 8 years. I can flick it on every now and again and still enjoy it. Ive definitely had my money's worth, and I am not forced to buy any coins or whatever online either.
You gotta think, rdr2 has also been released in that time too.

Can't see it unless the online for the next Nintendo platform significantly improves.Having this on another platform is not necessarily bad but it probably points to GTA6 being years away. I won't even be surprised if there's no new GTA game on PS5 either. They've not done a new GTA for the whole generation of Xbox One/PS4 which is really disappointing for me.. Though I know many on here like it.
I think they will wait for 10-year anniversary of GTA5 in 2013, will make a new enhanced edition then (probably release it across all platforms including new Nintendo platform), and try to release 6 between 2024 and 2025.
Lazlow Jones, best known for his radio shows in the Grand Theft Auto Series has left Rockstar Games after almost 20 years with the company.

He first joined the company in April 2001 and made his first Radio appearance in Grand Theft Auto: III, in Grand Theft Auto V, Lazlow made an appearance as a character as the host of Fame Or Shame.
His departure from the company has been due to personal reasons with Family Members becoming seriously ill he announced on Instagram, with the Pandemic making things even more difficult, this meant Lazlow left Rockstar Games in April 2020. (Also announced on Linkedin)
After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that player t0st did, in fact, reveal an aspect of the game code related to load times for the PC version of GTA Online that could be improved," the company said in a statement. "As a result of these investigations, we have made some changes that will be implemented in a forthcoming title update."
I thought you stopped playing because some 8 year old kept griefing you and made you cry.

I'm not convincedI know it’s surprising but @esmufc07 is actually older than 8

What are you going on about now? It wasn't some 8 year old. It was some 40-year-old loner, who kept turning my character into random stuff and kept killing me. Then to top it all off started t-bagging me. He then froze my game, so I had to restart the game and I somehow still got matched up to him. So that was the end of my chapter on GTA online on PC. Only consoles from now on, sorry @Paxi.
