Graham Potter | Deal agreed with West Ham

Good move for Potter I think. The expectation is rock bottom at the moment and their squad is on paper better than Everton.

And the Premier League gets even stronger...

I think this one's a good decision from West Ham
I agree. Perfect profile of club for potter.
I think he’ll do well there and he seems like a nice bloke so I hope he does well apart from against us obviously

Intrigued how it works out for him. I like him and like he's actually earned managing in the PL without any hand outs for being an ex player - on paper they have quite an exciting midfield in particular that should suit him.

I wouldn't be surprised if West Ham starts performing well now. At the start of the season, I felt that West Ham had an exciting team and will do well this season.

Will be intriguing to see how he approaches this, especially in comparison to Amorim here. Potter has a very specific way of playing and a system that he believes in and so just as with us right now he is going to struggle implementing that mid season, it was certainly a contributing factor to why things did not work out at Chelsea. I wonder if he will be pragmatic and just tweak things for now to try and get an upturn in results and hold off on the full makeover until the summer.

He will do well there , he is a good manager and won’t have the circus of the Chelsea recruitment to deal with.

Would much rather play West Ham early
In his reign than when he has had chance to get them going.
