I think he played in one of Auxerre's earlier CL fixtures. I doubt he'd move before the summer anyway since Auxerre are still alive in the CL.
Hassilbank and RVN - brilliant Dutch combo. Scare the living shit out of everyone in the premier league!!! Both natural goal scorers. Jimmy wants to leave Chelsea for a bigger, better, and more ambitous club. Great buy. Already proven striker for the premier league and europe.

jedi master say go for di Canio and another,like Shevchenko or Gudjohnsen....both with an excellent eye for goal....so what if the striker we sign can't play in the CL this season....di Canio can and he's all we need for that competition....the EPL is a whole different matter altogether with the 4-5-1 being too slow for the Premier League....we need 4-4-2 with one bloody pacy striker up front with either RVN or Ole....Forlan would suit the role down to a button, just needs a little more time to get into the English game.....meanwhile any chance of United going in for Joaquin of Real Betis.....yes, yes, understand jedi master that our midfield is packed but he's one hell of a right-winger!!!....tell you people what...let's swap Beckham for him ...and jedi master is only half joking!!!!

Joaquin has already stated his intention to join Real Madrid one day so he's not going to come to us.

His contract expires at the end of the season and it looks like the board won't offer him another one. So they migh be willing to ofload him for a cut price of .5 mil rather than loose him on a free transfer. Than, we could buy Ronaldinho and Cisse in the summer when we sell Veron

With the way Chelsea are struggling with form and money, it could be worth fishing for Hasslebaink. He's getting towards the wrong side of 30, but for a few seasons he's be terrific. Just as long as his big ego (and agent) don't want sky high wages!

SAF has already stated he is not going to purchase Di Canio so that's one player scratched off the list

What does it matter anyway if the new striker can't play in Europe this season? We've scored 14 goals in the first group stage, and that's the highest total for any team, apart from Real who have scored the same. And we scored 5 past ZTE. <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />
It would be a dream if we got Schevchenko to partner either RVN or OGS. Let's hope he stays out of the ECL till January!

If we want sheva we should agree with Milan now so that they dont play him in the ECL

Im more worried about the league myself, i dont think you should even be in Europe if you dont win your own league! So that being the case we should but someone even if they do play only in the league.

Klose is the best from now. I'm not a fan of him. But with a cheap price & high quality like him, it's a good investment for the future.
