2 man midfield
Last Man Standing finalist 2021/22
£56m up front. If he was available at that price then we must rate Rasmus highly.
Vlahović scored fewer on a per 90 minute basis thoughVlahovic scored more goals than Hojlund last season in Serie A. He is a better player (but also a few years older).
With regards to Ramos, he is a solid prospect with Haaland-like efficiency in front of goal. Does not contribute a lot outside the box though.
Bet he wouldn’t be available for that if United came calling£56m up front. If he was available at that price then we must rate Rasmus highly.

My thoughts exactly. I'm not bitter and really excited about Rasmus, but....
Ramos is further along in his development and in my opinion, should cost considerably more.
It's hardly a huge disparity. Hojlund's up front fee is £8m more and once add-ons are factored in the difference is negligible.£56m up front. If he was available at that price then we must rate Rasmus highly.
Awful career move, stock will drop massively in France. Reminds me of Icardi moving there.
I like the kid and he will do well in France but I wanted to see him Somewhere he could actually grow.
Don't understand how the "United tax" is higher than the "clubs with endless money tax". Maybe, people at United just can't negotiate a good deal most of the time.
My point is that’s a pretty low fee for someone who scored 27 goals last season compared to 10, in a market low on strikers. However reading around, even benfica fans don’t seem to rate him that highly. It's hardly a huge disparity. Yeah agreed. I think he’s got good finishing and is quite nimble with the ball without being particularly fast but that’s not what we need. A bit like a striker version of Sancho. We need someone a lot more physically capable to hold up, of being an aerial threat, and who can run the channels and keep the ball alongside the finishing - I think that’s what Rasmus can offer in a season or two at a very high level. Can't say I'm massively bothered about this. I'm not convinced he's that special really so I guess we'll see, but I'd definitely have gone for Hojlund given the choice.
Yep. Ramos being almost 10m LESS in fixed fee, is not a good look. Well, it is what it is, lets hope Hojlund really delivers or else things might get ugly.

A deal between PSG and Benfica, who knows what the actual deal is.Don't understand how the "United tax" is higher than the "clubs with endless money tax". Maybe, people at United just can't negotiate a good deal most of the time.
It's like desperation is written all over us since SAF left. We need to have a solid core first and then we can do slowly build the squad like City do now. City used to get their pants pulled all the time but now they are in a position to walk away which we can't afford to do.Don't understand how the "United tax" is higher than the "clubs with endless money tax". Weird how PSG were happy to pay big money for him but had a strict limit for Hojlund. Was Hojlund a cheap punt for them? It doesn't make sense to pay big money for your second choice when you wouldn't for your first choice. Not to mention they're looking at Kolo Muani for big money too.
I rate him highly but at the same time I do not think he is ready to impose himself in PSG or Man Utd, could be wrongMy point is that’s a pretty low fee for someone who scored 27 goals last season compared to 10, in a market low on strikers. Might get ugly? Children on twitter might throw a tantrum?
Would have been curious to see him move to the PL.
His stats last season in terms of goal threat were absolutely glowing. But it's hard to judge how well that will scale to better leagues as he doesn't have particularly outstanding physical/technical attributes when I watch him play. Whereas someone like Hojlund has nothing like Ramos' underlying stats, but does have more apparent physical gifts that might make him better suited for the PL. And is also a couple of years younger.
I think it's more to do with the Utd name, size of the club and history more than anything. Which is why Utd's name gets linked with anyone looking for a contract renewal or clubs trying to start a bidding war etc.Don't understand how the "United tax" is higher than the "clubs with endless money tax". Its not really weird. If I remember correctly, their first bid was bigger than our first bid. But it seemed Hojlund was adamant to come to United. So, I suppose, no point increasing their bid after that. If Hojlund had leaned towards going to PSG, I'm sure they would have increased their bid toward what Atlanta wanted.Weird how PSG were happy to pay big money for him but had a strict limit for Hojlund. Hojlund is the better, more well-rounded striker and also two years younger. So no surprise he commanded the higher fee. Even PSG know Hojlund is the better prospect which is why they tried to sign Hojlund first. Not losing sleep over this.£56m up front. I’m not saying we should’ve gone for him over Hojlund, I’ve never seen either of them play. Just that the initial fee was a bit low, which is surprising.Hojlund is the better, more well-rounded striker and also two years younger. So no surprise he commanded the higher fee. Ya I agree but I don’t think he will be tested against high enough competition to actually become better as a player. I was hoping he would go to England tbh. They're going to play big CL games, as always, and I think the French league is getting stronger again. Probably more tough games than the Portuguese league at the moment.

Couldn't care less if one cost a few million more than the other. The far more interesting thing is that both clubs scouting departments identified Hojlund as the primary target. What are we trying to do, win a negotiation award or win awards for being a good football team?
