He'll probably double the majors he's already won.
If he did, I dont ever see that record being broken
Not a hope. As my Da said to me yesterday, Tiger Woods is probably the best single sportsman in the world, ever. He can dominate his sport more than any other sportsman can. On his day, he is untouchable.
The world number one winced in pain on numerous occasions and Goosen, himself twice a US Open winner, was asked if Woods could have been faking it.
He told German TV ahead of the BMW International in Munich: "I think so.
"It just seemed that when he hit a bad shot his knee was in pain and on his good shots he wasn't in pain.
"You see when he made the putts and he went down on his knees and was shouting 'Yeah' his knee wasn't sore.
"Nobody really knows if he was just showing off or if he was really injured. I believe if he was really injured he would not have played."
Asked later about his comments, Goosen told The Times: "I was being light-hearted. No one but Tiger knows how badly hurt he was. But if he was really badly hurt, he would have withdrawn wouldn't he?"
Goosen does not think so Alex. The man is a class act and won me £700 so i will give him the benefit of the doubt
Tiger Woods will miss the rest of the season as he requires reconstructive surgery on his troublesome left knee.
The world number one got the better of Rocco Mediate in a play-off to claim his 14th major title at the US Open on Monday, but paid a heavy price as he did further damage to the knee on which he underwent surgery after The Masters in April.
He has now been informed by doctors that he will now need anterior cruciate ligament surgery to correct the injury.
Additionally, Woods went on to reveal on his personal website that he had played, and won, at Torrey Pines despite a double stress fracture to his left tibia that he sustained last month due to the intense rehabilitation programme he undertook to be fit for the US Open.
The American has been assured by medics that long-term prognosis is good given sufficient time off to recuprate and regain fitness.
However, the news means he will miss the Open Championship at Birkdale, the USPGA Championship at Oakland Hills as well as the Ryder Cup match against Europe at Valhalla.
"I know much was made of my knee throughout the last week, and it was important to me that I disclose my condition publicly at an appropriate time," he told his website.
"I wanted to be very respectful of the USGA and their incredibly hard work, and make sure the focus was on the US Open. Now, it is clear that the right thing to do is to listen to my doctors, follow through with this surgery, and focus my attention on rehabilitating my knee."
"While I am obviously disappointed to have to miss the remainder of the season, I have to do the right thing for my long-term health and look forward to returning to competitive golf when my doctors agree that my knee is sufficiently healthy.
"My doctors assure me with the proper rehabilitation and training, the knee will be strong and there will be no long-term effects."

How does he get a stress fracture of the tibia playing golf, or does he keep fit by running?
he apparently blew the ACL by running
I suppose the stress fracture could be related to that as well.
Oh and Retief, feck off you cnut.
