Golden Globe Awards 2012

Golden Globes TV nominations are such a joke. I'm sorry but when you leave out Breaking Bad and include American Horror Story that causes you to lose all credibility.

Also why weren't any of the songs from The Muppets nominated?
 
I take it Steve Merchant didn't help with the monologue this year, as he's on tour himself.

rofl at Downton Abbey randomly being dumped in mini series or TV movie when it's clearly a series.

Homeland good show though, not close to being better than Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and even Boardwalk though.

Well a mini series is classed by:

"A limited run program of more than two and less than the 13-part season or half -season block associated with serial or series programming.

So Downtown Abbey would fit in that criteria, yet at the same time Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire & Homeland have less than 13 episodes so they could of been classed as "mini series". :wenger:
 
Gervais wasn't that funny but then it didn't seem like they wanted "funny" they wanted "safe". I mean they were bleeping even the slightest remark, at one point they started bleeping their own announcer saying the word Globes. I hope thats the last of it for him though, now go write a proper comedy unlike the last turd effort.

I think it was only being bleeped on Britain's E! coverage. Somebody posted a youtube of Gervais' opening monologue which I assume was from NBC coverage and they didn't bleep Gervais saying 'beaver', but they did in Britain. So I think they were bleeping that guy saying 'Golden Globes live on NBC' everytime. Shocking coverage from E! though.

Yeah that and Enlightened was only 10 episodes, they've nominated other HBO shows that were only 8 eps, Episodes with Matt LeBlanc was only 6 episodes and all that shit. The contradiction awards, but thats expected from American awards.
