What opinions do you guys have, that it feels like everyone on this site disagrees with? And yet you are still sure of yourself?

For me it’s Garnacho’s potential; I think he’s got everything and he could turn into a £100m plus player.

Casemiro would still be a valuable United player, if we move him into the back 3.

Saves his failing legs. And you still get his experience, control and calmness. He's also invaluable to have on the pitch for set pieces.

Never going to get your value for that £350k a week United pay him, but I still think they can squeeze plenty out of him.

  • Dalots a good fullback, fringe CL level (good enough for a top 4 club).
  • Signing a goalkeeper isn't a priority as goalkeepers as long as they can play out from the back don't influence our general play and won't be the difference in our development as a team.
  • Bruno and Ugarte are a very good midfield pairing being let down by a truly awful attacking group
  • Signing 2 players like Osimhen and Cunha would turn us into a top 4 club again

This would be a huge issue in a back 3 surely.

We already have two much more natural options for the central CB (De Ligt and Maguire), and putting him at wide CB (where you need to push up into midfield during the press, quickly get back into position, and defend wide areas against pacy wingers) would be absolute suicide.

  • Garnacho will become a great player
  • Amad is better at RWB than at AM
  • Hojlund will become a really good striker for us
  • We should build the defence around Yoro

That we'd be better off long term selling Mainoo this summer and reinvesting the money as he'll never fully fit under Amorim and is becoming injury prone already.

Our young core have the potential to win the league if they stick together long term.

We should be using Eriksen more and I'd keep him on for another year as an experience old head who can be relied upon in certain situations (on reduced wages obviously)

We should consider playing Hojlund and Zirkzee at CB and Maguire and De Ligt up top.
Hojlund and Zirkzee may actually score.

Mount on paper was a good signing at the time. He should be an important part of the squad and would have been if he wasn't ruined by injury.

Rasmus will become a top striker in his mid to late 20s and we will look foolish if we let him go on a cheap deal

Fred was easily our best midfielder for years

Aye, we missed him last year.

Rather than aiming to sign the next Rooney or Ronaldo next summer we'd be better served filling out the squad with reliable squad players. Think the squad could use more bodies like Park, O'Shea or Fletcher that can be trusted to come in and purely do a job to enable the existing squad. Feel it would be better for rotation, drip feeding in some of our better youth talents and stabilizing us.

Just not convinced spending 100 mill on 3 players we hope to be guaranteed first XI is the way to go this summer. Would rather get 1 big signing and 5 sensible squad options with the same money

We should give the new hierarchy a fair go before we judge them - and I mean a proper go where we see what the results are of each decision rather than jumping on them for every minor mistake along the way.
Ultimately “I only want to eat the tasty pudding - I don’t need to know how it’s made” sums it up. If they get us winning and profitable again then all the pain will be worth it and the minor transgressions can be excused.

That fan ownership of the club could work because the fans don't get to make every single decision.
Had people telling me a single owner would be better and fans would destroy the club.
you know...like it has been since the buyout.

This is a tad contradictory.

Antony could’ve been a good left wing back. Certainly better than Dalot playing there.

Give Amorim time and he'll make it work. He has the knowledge and the desire, it's just about getting the players to fully buy in( and getting in some quality)

Mazraoui is the perfect player we need in midfield next to Ugarte, he has all the attributes to play there and would be a revelation. I’m absolutely sure of this.

I don’t see Garnacho as a big talent. I m not sure he is better than Daniel James for example.

As good as he is individually, Bruno should be sold in the summer. He doesn’t fit in this system long term.

I don't think this a bad shout. Not sure it'll happen as we play 5 at the back and we usually have a fair few injuries

Martinez is still going to be an important part of the back 3 next season. He'll grow 20cm after the surgery.

Alright, the last part might be a pipe dream.

Dalot shouldn’t be sold, he can be a good squad player.

We should not of sold McTominay.

Maguire can stay another year.

Just on this point. Park and Fletcher would have been an absolutely horrible midfield to play against. I don’t think either quite gets the credit outside of Manchester that they deserve.

- Dalot isn't this bad, he's just played too much football over the past couple of years
- Rasmus Hojlund will become a very good striker (we still need a starter)

I'd be interested in seeing that. Going forward if Amorim stays I'd like to ee him play someone in the centre of the back 3 who has the ability to step into midfield when we're in poession.
