Goalkeepers preceding Onana (in my lifetime)

I remember Barthez being pretty shocking but my memory might be hazy.
I think his first season was good, beside the Di Canio moment , but his second was horrendous, him and Brown's feck ups against Deportivo, Arsenal away cost us two goals, I think Liverpool away too he came out to catch a throw in and missed it then Owen scored, and that's just off the top of my head

I remember being very disappointed thinking he was meant to be one of the best in the world.

Schmeichel was fantastic, VDS was great (although I alwasy remeber his howler agaist West Brom at home), De Gea was great - player of the year a few times. Have you seen Top 10 De Gea saves on MUTV - might be on the app I'm not sure I dont have it?? A series that shows his 10 best saves from each season he was at the club - fantastic keeper.
