Yes but something organised will take it to a whole new level. Word will be out before the game for sure, and then the whole world will see the extent of our dissatisfaction. Would be a great message to send.

Hahaha. Sure they did, but lots of stadia empty spontaneously in reaction to a bad result. OT isn't one of them so it was big news. Reinforce it at our next home game in a planned fashion independent of result and it's even bigger news.I think the whole World might have picked up on that Wednesday night
You'd need someone like Pete Boyle or similar to get any traction like that but I haven't seen him at games for ages. I think a lot of the old influential regulars are cracking on a bit now and realise it's not worth the hassle. I don't think the younger generation are that arsed either. A few rants on Youtube do feck all in the grand scheme of things. Most tourists at the game won't give a shit or even understand a boycott as long as they get their half and half scarf and a 6 quid hot dog. I know it was a night game last night but I reckon there were less there than the crappy FA Cup replay against Wolves. Attendance is definitely dwindling it's just whether it is going to be enough to make any kind of difference. Season Ticket holders have already paid anyway so the owners don't give a shit.
Another thing they've done that has pissed me off is they've got rid of the pop-up beer stalls, at least in my stand anyway. Which means you have to queue for even longer to get a beer at half time. I asked one of the stewards the reason for this and he said it was because they weren't selling enough, despite there being a huge queue each time! I reckon they've done it just to cut down staff costs. A lot of the stewards I've spoken to are sick of a few things the club are doing internally not just the crap we see out out on the pitch. There is chaos from top to bottom, the playing and management staff is just the tip of the iceberg.
Can't we dispose of Ed Woodward in the same way his actor namesake was disposed of in the Wicker Man?

For the local fans it wouldn't be too bad, but there's 100's that come over from Ireland, and 1000's that travel up from London/SE for each home game, it must cost a small fortune, you can't expect them to leave too early, certainly not before the 80th minute.
I think there must have been some planning for Wednesday night, that didn't just happen, by all accounts it was cold, but it's not as though fans feared they wouldn't be able to get away because of the weather. Something triggered it, and it wasn't just the performance on the pitch - interesting times ahead.
Here an idea that won't cost United fans a penny. Go to the United website and write down all the Club sponsors, both local and international. Then go online and search for an email address for them. And email a plea asking for the sponsors to express their dissatisfaction with the way the club is being run because the fans are starting to boycott their product or threatening to boycott their product. If we can get every or nearly every supporter to do so the sponsors will react. And that will put the pressure on the GLASERS. Stop buying jerseys or any other merchandise. It's the only thing the GLASERS understand, Profits. Hit that and they will take notice.
Sorry but I do think it was the second half performance. We never looked like scoring in the second half and I think fans just thought f**k it might as well be at home in the warm. As for travelling fans, I live in Ireland and hate leaving a ground early but if I was told it was a protest against the GLASERS and what they are doing to the club I would have been loud and proud leaving early. After all it would normally cost me flights and accommodation on top of match tickets to watch the crap we got last night! I read on line some guy flew in from Australia for the Burnley game!! And that's the performance he was given. It's a disgrace. The whole club should surrender their wages to charity and that includes Woodworm and the Glasers

I wrote this early on in the thread but hardly anyone responded.
I think it is probably the best way forward. Its just embarassing for the Glazers and Woodward for cameras to pick up on droves of United fans walking out. We can chant anti glazer/woodward stuff during the match and yes it will have an affect but not as much as people actually getting up from their seats and leaving. They can always hide the audio from matches but they cant hide empty seats on a tv screen. And no sponsor wants to be associated with that.
I'm with you mate. That's my thinking too. I'm not quite as far away as Ireland but I'm a season ticket holder from another city a couple hours away. And yet I'll gladly take part in an organised walk out. Despite what it's cost me to get there in the first place.
Change of ownership is a massive ordeil. I don't think it can happen easily. Their valuation of the club is way over the top, and they'll never sell unless they can get a massive return which can't happen right now because we'd at least need to be in CL.

Indeed, I mentioned this on 7th Jan, on this thread. I believe we have to try any and every means possible to get rid of these parasites. I would also add that we are all Manchester United supporters, and the problem is the current regime running the club, and we will always support this football club.
You made out the game changed when fan started chanting about the Glazers. It was pretty obvious we’re weren’t going to score after missing 3 early chances. From what could hear the chanting started after we were losing anyway.

We need to sign some sort of online petition, which can be accessible by clicking a link. Once we get huge amount of signatures there, we can start sending this link to sponsors and the club's PR department.
I'm not clicking on that, but it's worth just stopping to think about how the club has spent money, to employ a writer for a national newspaper (even as shitty a one as the Sun), to write fluff pieces in an attempt to change fans opinion of a grossly underachieving CEO.

Oh yes. It was Moyes who couldn't sign Fabregas, Herrera. It was van Gaal who couldn't sign Vidal, Pedro and a creative winger in his second season. It was Mourinho who couldn't sign Perisic, Maguire etc. It was Ole who couldn't sign a midfielder and a striker this summer. You can argue that the managers have all underperformed but they all did because their demands were not net. I can't believe how can a journalist write this. After everything that happened, are we really going to blame the managers?
What a piece of nonsense. Lest we forget what Evra said about Woodward and how LVG mentioned that the club is being run like a commercial entity with less focus on football side of things (add to that SAF agreeing with Van Gaal's point of view). Boycotts and protests need to go on. Either Glazers sell or they put in place a structure which will allow football experts deal with football-related things, while commercial experts increase our revenue through sponsors etc.

How can the glazers and Ed see/or read about how the team is doing and not invest in the squad. How can they see/or read the complete lack of progress on the pitch and not change the whole coaching and managing staff.
Seems not to be getting much of response still. I wish someone would run with it. I think it'll be a very effective protest in our current situation. We're already on tbe brink of financial ruin after successive years of poor performance on the pitch. Fan protest is the last thing the club want on their hands.
