Wouldn't make any difference to the team, so who cares.
Elon Musk would be an interesting buyer.
Plenty of commercial sponsorship opportunities available to leverage the Tesla brand.
I think he does an amazing job and is a great guy, but from an ownership point of view it just does not make any senseCant stand that cnut. I’d hate him to buy United.
On that note, when has a business ever de- corporatized without it all going to shit first?Exactly. No business person will invest 5 billion+ and then continue to fund massive transfer windows unquestioned. Being owned by a sports washing regime or an olygarch is the only way to obtain that kind of spending power and given what’s happened with Abramovich it’s not clear if that is in the long term best interests of the club (even if you were ok with the source of the funds).
In the long run a proper footballing structure with a guaranteed self generated transfer budget that still allows the owners to take their ill gotten dividends is the most sustainable set up.
No thanks. If the state of his factories is anything to go by, our already broken dressing room would become an even more toxic workplace. And just wait until he starts berating the manager or pitting players against each other on Twitter. He probably would only pretend to buy the club anyway before trying to back out by sh*t talking us on social media. Apartheid Clyde can stay well away.Would Elon Musk be interested?
This is key. The sale of the club is pure profit for them regardless of what price they sell for. It’s paying them a healthy dividend and it’s an asset that has continued to increase in value to boot with no risk to them.People also need to remember that the Glazer’s didn’t use their own money to buy United and that the club was bought through loans against the club for £790 million

He wouldn’t touch us unless there was something massive in it for him. Plus, Tesla is already worth $700 per share on the stock market, after falling from a recent $1000 due to the current climate. He doesn’t need to leverage that brand, we all know who he is and what Tesla do.Elon Musk would be an interesting buyer.

This guys, billionaires rarely fall into the “great guy” category.I suggest you do some research then. Elon Musk is so far from being "a great guy" it's not even funny.
He would solve the right wing problem too.Elon Musk would be an interesting buyer.

The only realistic way to get rid of the glazers is for United to reach a valuation of £10b and for them to cash in. Investors don’t sell when things drop in price, they sell when things move up.On that note, when has a business ever de- corporatized without it all going to shit first?
I've seen comments on this board along the lines of "I would take relegation to get the Glazers out", or "i'd happily have what happened to Rangers happen to us to get the Glazers out", but for the Glazers to give up United that scenario would have to be such a catastrophe that it would lose a lot of the fanbase, including some the fans saying these things.
What just cos he doesn’t sing from the woke playbook?I suggest you do some research then. Elon Musk is so far from being "a great guy" it's not even funny.
Weird thing to say about a billionaire who utilises child labour in the making of Tesla batteries. What just cos he doesn’t sing from the woke playbook?
No, for me it's because he baselessly accused a man trying to save children stuck in a cave of being a pedophile because he said (accurately) that Elon's idiotic submarine idea wouldn't work. What just cos he doesn’t sing from the woke playbook?
He will fire employees who have spent decades at the club and call them lazy cnuts.Elon Musk would be an interesting buyer.

Why the actual feck are people talking about Elon Musk?
I guess we’ve reached that point of insanity where all hope is lost.
Crying shame.

It’s actually hilarious seeing him become idolised by the “take down the hedge funds and destroy the banks” and “we hate market manipulation” gang… Elon is basically the new face of that
I think he does an amazing job and is a great guy, but from an ownership point of view it just does not make any sense
Why exactly?Between Glazers and Musk? No brainer, 110% Musk.
Where can I find this playbook? I'd like to order a copy. What just cos he doesn’t sing from the woke playbook?
The guy segregates by race in his factories, made people work through Covid and wants Trump back on the internet megaphone. That great guy?I think he does an amazing job and is a great guy, but from an ownership point of view it just does not make any sense

What? The guy segregates by race in his factories, made people work through Covid and wants Trump back on the internet megaphone. That great guy?
Some of you really are naive.

To be fair I know feck all about the bloke, apart from he makes electric cars, is trying to fly to the moon, has bought twitter and is minted. It’s actually hilarious seeing him become idolised by the “take down the hedge funds and destroy the banks” and “we hate market manipulation” gang… Elon is basically the new face of that
First printed amongst extremist circles in the USA, The Woke Playbook gained traction on social media, mainstream news, TV shows and films, once influencers, celebs and politicians realised how career-positive a move subscribing to the playbook was. Bored, directionless, middle-class British 20-somethings imported millions of copies using their mums' credit cards, and now it's readily available online, and also from some 5-colours-in-zher-hair person found loitering around your local student union. Don't be put off by their contemptuous sneer, though. Just whisper, "genders are limitless" and the pale death in their eyes will abate somewhat.Where can I find this playbook? I'd like to order a copy.
Elon is scum but has a unique skillset to align himself with the latest ‘hype’ and whatever generation we’re now in Z, X or who knows. Actually he finds ways to define what hype is.
The way he manipulated markets in the past is scary. He’s done it with Twitter he kept doing it with a nymber of cryptos he is everywhere. He just doesnt bat an eye goes in all guns blazing and has a horde of ‘woke’ middle aged middle class warriors backing him up on all he does as if he is jesus.
He could ruin United (for me). I wont put him up there with oil money and Saudis but the guy is a villain.
Consider this… Micheal Knighton bid 20M in 1989 for the club, but couldn’t raise the finances.
Well she's will at least get these guys going, cutting off their fingers and shitting in their bed..So if Musk buys us will he make Amber Heard CEO?
