Given the mounting injury problems, what will constitute a good last third of the season?

We play them in the Final & lose, you feel like crap for a day or two, then compartmentalise the defeat & move on.

We play them & win, euphoria.

All but Martinez will be back this season, don’t write us off yet. Don’t lose at Spurs & Top4 should be a formality, let’s add a few more cups I say.
Not if they do a Treble. That would stick for a long time, knowing we had a chance but fail to prevent it.

We've done better than I expected in all honesty. That centre back partnership has been decent for the most part, while the full backs are like much of the players in general, either good or below standard. We obviously don't have enough energy in midfield and the one that has it leaves a lot to be desired in his passing game and game intelligence.

That being said, I thought we'd normally done shite in the last 10 games of the season (post SAF) but it's not that bad. In the last 10 seasons the most we've won of the last 10 matches is 7. Twice, once under Ole and once under Mourinho. With 5 matches to go we've won 3, drawn 1 and lost 1 of our last 5 matches. Our last ten seasons have been thus:

21-22: W3 D2 L5
20-21: W6 D2 L2
19-20: W7 D3
18-19: W3 D2 L5
17-18: W7 D1 L2
16-17: W4 D4 L2
15-16: W6 D1 L3
14-15: W5 D2 L3
13-14: W5 D1 L4
12-13: W5 D3 L2

For comparison, these are City's stats:

21-22: W7 D3
20-21: W7 L3
19-20: W8 L2
18-19: W10
17-18: W8 D1 L1
16-17: W6 D3 L1
15-16: W4 D4 L2
14-15: W7 L3
13-14: W7 D2 L1
12-13: W6 D1 L3

They've failed three times to get at least 7 wins in the last 10 - when they lost the league to us, Leicester, and Chelsea.

Will never be the same as ours no matter what the utter media wankfest have you believe
