Not really a surprise, he's never really stepped up since Parma even though he's had loads of chances to at Juve and although he'll have had offers elsewhere, he'd be mad to turn down the money he'll be on in America.

Good player for a mid table club who could have had a completely different career had Juventus played to his strenghts. Technically he's brilliant, but he's just too small to be a mdfielder, or striker in a possession dominating side.

Best player in MLS by far

Also did well for Italy in last 2 games.

“The difference between Italy and here is that here we can enjoy time with family, time with friends,” Giovinco says. “So after training, we can just go for a walk, we can go for an ice cream with the family, shopping, whatever. And when we do get stopped by fans, they are very respectful, and they are not so touchy and aggressive. So it’s a different lifestyle, and I’m definitely enjoying it.”

Well said. I went to a TFC game recently and they played a diamond with him and Altidore up top, played mostly on the break and he peeled wide a lot and looked to run at center backs and was very dangerous.

I could see him doing well at Everton if they can get another MLS loan like they did with Donovan, and if Martinez could get them playing on the break or with a Klopp-y press more.

with their overlapping fullbacks providing the width.

Pretty sure a few people on here could look really good in the MLS....
or none. Maybe 1-2 if they played at some sort of European level could make a roster.

As for Giovinco, he'd be our (United's) best player right now. He's been unstoppable.

I'd actually take him on loan here, just to see how good he'd do and how effective his dribbling would be in the Premier League. Also for the hilarity of United having a TFC player on loan.
