Don't watch our players during this, watch the way the Blackburn players are gradually pulled out of position.
I'd compare it to being like a table cloth slightly too small to properly cover a table - if you can make it bunch up in one area then it leaves gaps in other areas.
Indeed we were being careful not to give the ball away cheaply at this point. But at the same time it's pointless taking the ball well into their half and passing it around there looking for an opening which probably won't come because everyones packed into that quarter of the pitch. Passing it back is going to spread the opposition out again and gives more potential for dragging people out of position, which you can see by the final move.
I thought to myself when Rio stopped on the ball.
