You do realize that even with that, Scousers will find a way. Probably that Sir Alex has paid Match of the Day, the camera angle is misleading, etc.
Those people are absolute geniuses at this.
And they will give an analysis of it.
But that actually proves there was contact.....the ripple from the calf muscle is fairly definitive.
But was it enough to send him doing a barrel roll in the air? It also proves that he just left his leg hanging in there for the contact and wasn't interested in running after the ball at all.

The way he leave his leg hanging in the air is also proof that he is diving for it, if he was tripped then its fair enough but he has gone down with the glimpse of the gk''s leg and is making the most of it.
The referee clearly could not see it fully, but he guessed and at first it seemed the right outcome, but the replays show that the slightest brush of contact is NEVER enough for a penalty IMO.
