German football is turd

Nagelsmann doesn't seem to view Gündogan as an option for the DM position but seems to intend to play with a "triple 10", with Gündogan, Wirtz, Musiala and Sane the probably choices for that. Kroos backup probably will be Pascal Groß or even Pavlovic if I look at what Nagelsmann said and how he fielded the team in those matches.

Fair go. I purely based my suggestion on Gundogan occasionally being trusted to play a disciplined role for Pep at times. Small sample size admittedly.

Glad Germany have a promising outlook. They make International competition feel much bigger when they’re good.

I think Nagelsmann just realized that Gündogan+Kroos or Gündogan+Kimmich doesnt work.
But why should Andrich+Gündogan not work?

Gündogan was arguably our worst player in the last 2 matches. And not only was his own performance quite bad it also caused Wirtz and especially Musiala to play on positions that arent their favorite.

Musiala LW and Wirtz CAM should be set in stone imo.

I think it could, it's just my gut feeling that Nagelsmann doesn't fancy him in that position but prefers him higher up.

Considering the title of the thread, not sure why it shouldn’t be? This thread should have been deleted long ago.
This thread is the perfect garbage bin for stupid takes, leaving this open improves the quality of the other threads about Germany

To the Bayern fans, is there going to be a squad revamp or not and if so will it be major?

Which players do you think will be on sale this coming window?

I am expecting some changes
OUT
Davies
Coman/Gnabry
Chupo Moting
I'll add Upamecano to the exit list

I agree and might add Goretzka, depending on a new coach and his needs/wishes for midfield.
Assuming Davis is Madrid bound I can see coman/gnabry and possibly goretzkahave many suitors.

What about kimmich? He has seemed a bit off the boil these past few years.

I‘d agree if it wasn‘t for the obscene salary he‘s on. Questionable he’s got a good market.

Doesn‘t seem to be the type to accept a rotating role in the squad too (which also wouldn‘t work well with the type of salary he‘s on) - probably the most difficult decision

The team that won the league by 17 points is getting schooled by a team 27 points adrift in a supposedly worse league.

A team that had already secured qualification months ago were battling one that hadn't.

Jokes aside if Inter didn't miss 50 sitters in that second half against Atletico, they'd be losing the CL final to us next week

And the 5th place of this Bundesliga season, who finished 27 points behind us, are in the Champions League final, your point?

A typical take in here is that the Bundesliga makes it easy for attackers because of shit defending. But maybe the attackers in the league are just that good?

Data point to indicate this is the Euro group stage: There are 96 PL player, 91 Serie A players and 76 BL players in the tournament. The BL players scored 14 goals together, Serie A 13 and PL just 10.

Some German poster was saying they were going to win 5/5 this week. Barely won 2.

It's La Liga struggling the most so far in the CL. 5 losses from 8 games.

If Atleti lose their next game then Ligue 1 McDonald's teams will have beaten all 4 Spanish sides already and the CL has barely begun.

Yes it was me, I'm italian and I was serious to be fair.

Also as per bookies german clubs were favorite to win any of their match.
In terms of final scores it's been a disappointing CL matchday 2 for Bundesliga IMHO but honestly Bayern, Stuttgart and Leipzig created enough chance to win their games: 68 combined attempts, xG 6.2 but only managed to score 3..

It's La Liga tha have been disappointing the most so far IMHO
Italian and German clubs lost to the likes of Liverpool, Leverkusen, Real Madrid, Juventus, Aston Villa away etc. something understandable... While the most worrying thing about La Liga is that they already lost to the likes of Lille, Feyenoord, AS Monaco or Benfica.. Not really teams that have huge ambitions in the competition

I assume it is partially due to the new concept where single games matter less in the early stages compared to prior years. As United fan it is not that relevant but CL nights don't feel that impactful anymore.
