I'm saying that there's no point in buying a player who is no better than what we have. How do you know he'll stay fit? How do you know Jones won't get fit and stay fit?

There's no chance Chelsea would sell him to us in January.

You can have him. He is pretty bad at defending.

I think he's a very good defender. He is confident and has a fairly good leadership quality (something I think we really lack).

I'd take him for around £10m on a 2 and half year contract.
