Regardless of injuries, I'd honestly be more excited about signing Bale than almost anyone else. I've felt for years that he'd be absolutely perfect for United.

Don't really care about the injury record, but is it true he's lost pace? If so, I wouldn't go near him.

I don't see it happening. Real Madrid don't even need to sell Bale to sign Mbappe. They have the money and if they change their formation to a 4-4-2 you can fit in the BBC with Mbappe.

Absolute crock at the peak years of his career. Class player but do not want.

If De Gea is desperate to go, I'd take Bale or Varane. Please for the love of god don't pull another De Gea - Navas switch. Romero is perfectly capable of being No.1, we would be getting absolutely rinsed if it was hypothetically anyone except bale or Varane.

Most talented treatment table 2018
No but seriously, you just wonder if Real and Spurs would have gotten by far his best years.

The club said a striker is our priority now after the Ibra injury

And it most likely still is. However, we've always wanted/needed a star winger, who could pop up with 15+ league goals a season to help out our striker. Bale would be that winger.

I would like to see two wingers in the summer, but say were to get, for example, Bale and Lukaku, I'd be very happy.

I've said it before. Bale is destined to end up at United. We've always had the best british players and he does belong in this club especially since he's a welsh winger :p

Bale is obviously a risk considering his injury record. Whether or not he wants to go from Real to United and is willing do his best for the team is another important question. We need players who are willing to fight for the club.

Could turn out really well though. It's a risk we should take imo. Our #1 priority this summer should be to add goal scorers to the attack and he'd certainly help in that regard.

I'd give him a free role behind the striker like he has for Wales, he's that good. It's just his injury record that would be a big concern.

Heaven forbid we add class players to our average squad.
I'm all for adding quality players, come on with that comment. Even as a younger player Bale was injured a fair bit. I'd rather we spent the money(if possible)on Sanchez, Dembele, Alli etc. Wouldn't you?

Not ok with swapping de Gea for Bale. Ok with buying him and Real using the money for Hazard

If it happens, I'm relatively certain De Gea won't be involved as part of the deal.

That would most likely mean playing with a midfield two, though, which is hopefully not what we do next season.

We can give him a free role on the wing, though.

There are some injury concerns, but I definitely wouldn't be put off by them. What Utd fan wouldn't want to have a chance of seeing Gareth Bale added to our attacking line up? If it worked out, he could be absolutely devastating for us. It's a gamble with not my money that I'm more than willing to take!

30m+games/goals bonuses and no DDG exchange. Shouldn't pay more upfront unless he proves his fitness.

I'd be over the moon if Lukaku and Bale were our two attacking additions this summer. Regardless of the very few negatives, that's a lot of goals!

His injury concerns cannot be overlooked, however if Mourinho and Woodward are looking for a key signing, with Griezmann out of the running, there's not much else available. I personally do think if Bale is available this year, it's because Madrid have concerns over his fitness.

He's a phenomenal player, if fit he'd be devestating, but he's a risk.
