Hope for a cracking game. I am backing Croatia to be the surprise team of the tournament.

Should be a good game, both teams being tipped as dark horses to do well in the tournament

On paper we're a much better side. Saying that we were a better side on paper vs Mexico in Brasil in 2014 and look how that turned out.

We have our version of Roy Hodgson on our bench, Ante Čačić, and that's our biggest minus.

Hows the team spirit amongst the players atm you reckon? This coach guy threw out Lovren at least didn't he?

Well they say it's great. But they always say that and always it turns out it wasn't so good. The best part is kicking Lovren out will make for a better atmosphere cause he's a dick who demanded he should play in starting 11 and when Čačić send him to prepare to be subbed on in one game he sat back on the bench after he was running by the line for 10 minutes cause it's too much. He even said something how Klopp do it or doesn't.
In any case our coach is neither a good motivator or a good tactician. Our fans like to not to be bothered a lot, they come in NT to relax and have fun so I guess he's letting them have a good time.
Personally I would throw them to Fergie to deal with them.

Hajmo Hrvatska! Disappointing that I'm going to have to miss this one, was really looking forward to it. Tough group so it could well be the key game to decide who goes through.

Where do these photos come from? I don't know if it's just me but they make me laugh.

Really looking forward to this one, big fan of both teams. I reckon Turkey will edge it due to pervasive issues about Croatia's system.

Oh, please, do not agree, our coach does better silly faces, oh wait, he has only one face, losing, wining, same freaking expression on his face.

you mean players? If so yes, agree, I do hope they realize this is their last chance, well, for some of them, to do something at the big stage and their country, not hust clubs, so I do hope they "show up" in France.

The game in 2008 was a cracker.
no, no, no, and no, it was, but not the very end of it

Players yes. I hope they realize it too. But if they lose they will have their readymade excuses dont you worry.

It's a strange atmosphere here. First of all it's not so crazy and electrified. Cause of all the shite around our football and our country in general.

There are even some people who'll root for Turkey today. While I get why they are angry rooting against Croatia is something you don't do. It's a desperate measure which produces absolutely nothing.

I'm just not so crazy about the whole thing. If we lose I won't be bothered.

In the past watching Croatia was. Well lets say I was nervous to say the least. I'd be nervous 2 or 3 days prior to the game. Not to mention the game day. Lots of games I didn't even watch in full, I would walk around a flat or a friend's house or a bar and not watch, just hearing people react. One time, vs Ecuador in 2002 I even stepped out of friend's building and it was a beautiful sight. Entire neighborhood was totally, completely empty. You could just hear people screaming and yelling in their flats. Mental. :)
So was my watching Croatia games.

Similar things happen during United games. When I'm nervous I switch channels or watch the result on teletext. :D :D

It's under football fights but no fights whatsoever. :)

This is how you do it.

That's fantastic to see, especially when you see so much intensity from their fans in their respective leagues.

Reckon this will be a very good game. Calling it - this will be the best game of the tournament among those already played.

If today we cant get revenge for 2008. I dont know what will happen in the streets of Zagreb. Riots perhaps.

This could be line up for today.

Mandzukic
Perisic Rakitic Brozovic
Modric Badelj
Strinic Vida Corluka Srna
Subasic

Za dom!

Who is that?

Having said that, come on Turkey!

It is Emre Mor who just signed for Dortmund from some Danish outfit. He is born in Denmark but chose to play for Turkey.

Edit: Croats, do you think we will get to see this guy dubbed the "Croatian Messi"?

Two new Messis in one match

Emre Mor. Dortmund just bought him not long ago. I have only heard of him after seeing that news. Saw Youtubes and whatnot. Wanting to see whether he is all that. Either way gling to be fun game I think.

Come on Croatia. It would be worth it to see the Turkish boss's sad face tomorrow.

Is Vida that much bettef than Vrsaljko? Really wanted to see the latter play. Also, Kovacic can't even get in their side anymore now? Oh how a move to Real can feck up your career.

What's the stadium next door to the one the match is being played in?
