Sign Gabriel, stop Napoli selling Koulibaly to City. Win win!Suspect he will end up being Koulibalys replacement at Napoli.

Even when he’s playing well he’s nowhere near this level, this season Mings was absolute rubbish. But this guy will be as cheap if not cheaper and looks like he will have a higher ceiling
Mings shouldn’t be anywhere near this level. The crowd couldn’t handle smalling, if we sign Mings.. the horror.. the horror
Who? Woody?Sign him you stupid prick
Bailly's barely even at the club, last season he only completed 619 minutes, 1,123 in 18/19 and 1,359 in 17/18.This may be a lazy comparison but he really reminds me of a left footed Bailly whom we already have at the club. Not sure if we should buy another one but maybe he can stay fitter than Eric

Except with better passing, better heading, better fitness (to date) and probably less brain farts. This may be a lazy comparison but he really reminds me of a left footed Bailly whom we already have at the club. Not sure if we should buy another one but maybe he can stay fitter than Eric

Looks like a combination of AWB tackling, and Silvestre heading & crossfield passing
Hopefully with less brain farts
And Vidic's heading. We have found the perfect defender.Except with better passing, better heading, better fitness (to date) and probably less brain farts.

I actually think we are in for him and its not just Lille putting our name in there. It's known we are after a left footed CB and this guy is a highly rated one that's cheap
If we are after a left footed CB then 25m for a 22 year old that was in the ligue 1 team of the season is worth a punt. I mean asides from Pau Torres whose costing 65m now there aren't any decent left footed CBs available
Don’t know. Not my problemHe's left footed while Maguire prefers to play on the left because he's probably more comfortable there. How is that going to work?
Fergie. Hasn't made a decent signing since RvPWho? Woody?
Honestly I’d have Vidics head on a stick over lindelof when it comes to going and winning a headerAnd Vidic's heading. We have found the perfect defender.
I'm not sure this makes sense. Maguire has played on the left most likely due to a lack of good LCBs around. But I'd assume like most defenders he'd be more comfortable on his right side. He's left footed while Maguire prefers to play on the left because he's probably more comfortable there. How is that going to work?
Yeah but unfortunately he got MourinhoedWe should not have sold off Daley Blind if we are obsessed about having left footed defenders. This guy can defend, can pass and plays with his head up
Blind did well when he had Smallings pace and power beside him. He's simply too slow to partner Maguire or Lindelof. We should not have sold off Daley Blind if we are obsessed about having left footed defenders. This guy can defend, can pass and plays with his head up
This one could be really perfect here (LB or LCB), he has it all (technique, leadership, off play, passing, speed, defending, heading). I'll be happy with Gabriel, looks great value. Like Torres too but not sure about his capacity to deal with crosses.Gabriel, Pau Torres, Ake, Lucimi, salisu, Hinteregger are some of the well known options except Hernadez, Umitit, Hermoso, martinez,Leite, werber, Jack o'Connell & Mings.
I'd wonder who we go for.
You not counting Moyes?Fergie. Hasn't made a decent signing since RvP
Ex-Everton manager, David Moyes? I don't know anything about that. You not counting Moyes?
And how many times have you actually seen the later play?If Upamecano staying for a bit longer in Leipzig, Magalhaes sounds like natural choice.

All I remember is Fergie retired and then Solskjaer succeeded him. With a 5 year gap in the middle where football took a break.
It's been pretty obvious we suck at playing from the back so his personal preference has to take a step back. He'll be more press resistant and less prone to giving the ball away in front of goal on the right. He could do with AWB making up for his lack of pace too. He's left footed while Maguire prefers to play on the left because he's probably more comfortable there. How is that going to work?
