City are building quite the formidable team for the future.
Hard to argue that Pogba was a certain star at 19, when he left United after being given absolutely zero first team opportunity. No he isn't.
I've seen all the YouTube videos & even watched a recent Brazil Olympic game to see what all the fuss was about & he looked nothing special. Players like Pogba, Neymar, Hazard were near certain Stars because of their unrivaled technique.
Gabriel doesn't seem to be on that level at all despite playing in a 3rd rate League. I'll be surprised if he turns out to be a success at City.
Sane and Jesus will not end up like Sinclar. Be real. Some people just hate for the sake of hating. Not even close. They're just overloading their forward positions while neglecting everywhere else.
Sane and Jesus could be future worldies, or could be future Scott Sinclairs. Just look at Sterling: if you don't make an immediate impact at City you end up cast out and replaced in the next transfer window.
When it comes to prospects from Brazil, there is no such thing as a "sure thing".
Maybe he didn't apply himself and he was lazy?I remember the last young player who was eager to join a club because he thought that Pep was the best manager to develop under. It didn't work out too well in the end for the little dumpling.

I do agree i don't pep is the messiah that city fans are making him to be but there is no denying he has a great track record with young players. Coman and Costa looked really good under him last season
Erm yes it isCosta is 25! He managed Coman for one season. It is hardly definitive proof of anything.
You had two different squads with two different problems. Our's is a young squad in desperate need of ready made class players.I actually think they've done better business than us. Seems like the roles have been reversed and now they're going for the profile of player we always used to target to create a dominant team with staying power.
Costa is still very inconsistent.Erm yes it is
Coman has definitely improved in the year he has been at Bayern
Same with Costa. Costa was very inconsistent...why do you think it took so long for him to get out of Ukraine? You can see the improvement he has made to his game under Bayern coaching.

I'm sure I read on here that Rafael managed a game in midfield before Pogba once.
Then Stones the day after that probably. So are they signing three players in three days? Sane yesterday, Jesus today and Moreno tomorrow?
Well you guys really are though. Nothing is going to change that. This thread
And you call us the bitters
Yeah, because everyone is saying he's shit. Selective much? This thread
And you call us the bitters
Is there are 3rd party ownership in this deal?

Should have went to a team that has a track record of developing youth players. He could easily turn to out to be the next Robinho at City.
Potentially a cracking front 4 at Citeh this season, Pep seems to have bought well and with minimal fuss.
The feck are you on about? Majority saying class talent. Don't confuse us for BluemoonThis thread

He isnt as good as Neymar.I've got friends in Brazil who have been raving about this guy for ages. They were sure he was Barcelona-bound. If what they say is true, he's better than Neymar, which is a scary prospect to have at City!
Don't forget Stones the day after!
Future stars are never nailed on! Some fulfill their potential many more don't.Nailed on to be a future star.
I don't think we're that attractive to young forwards. We already have Munir, Turan, Denis Suarez and Rafinha, all can play up front. Yet they won't really get that many appearances there unless in the case of a MSN injury or playing in the Copa del Rey.
There was, and I think the player himself owned a part of him as he received some of the transfer fee.
Have a hard time believing that. I dont think I've ever heard anyone say they feel he's that good, even if he's touted as a potential top player.I've got friends in Brazil who have been raving about this guy for ages. So, in January they will have five offensive wonderkids (Sterling, Sané, Zinchenko, Ihenacho, Jesus) in an offensive unit consisting of three established top class players (De Bruyne, Aguero, Silva) and a couple of good other attackers. How in the world is Guardiola supposed to fit them all in and develop them properly? Even with the amount of games City will probably play this will be a bloody competition and one hell of a task to balance that all.
You cannot be serious with that statement!!! City's signings are seriously underwhelming! Unless you think Gundugon will find a cure for his chronic injury record?I actually think they've done better business than us. Seems like the roles have been reversed and now they're going for the profile of player we always used to target to create a dominant team with staying power.

The same media obsession with United which they're always bitching about actually doing them a big favour.
