Fulham v Brentford, the £160 million match.

Entering the tight ass phase of the game.

Will it be brilliance or mistakes that decide the outcome?

Bizarre stuff from Brentford. Get towards the Fulham area then turn around and pass it round the back for ages before a hopeless long ball.

Think too many are desperate to pin what hasn't happened in this game on a lack of quality. I have seen far worse Premier League games.

Does Scott Parker not know what the point of a tie pin is?

I saw the Reed one, in the PL that would have been a red.

Shoot for fecks sakes! Both sides are getting into decent enough positions, but lack confidence to take that shot

£160m?!

feck me countries have started wars for money like that.

Was 90m ten years ago when Blackpool went up. 120m in 2013 when Palace went up. Think it would have been a lot more if it weren't for Covid. Fulham will only get around 130m this time something to do with the parachute payments are cancelled if a team gets promoted after previous relegation.

Mitrovic is on. Good call from Parker to have him fresh for the extra 30 mins that's coming.

Extra time. But it was a truly remarkable shit show today

What does the loser get?

Brentford have been pretty poor, nothing near the football they have played this season, Fulham haven't been much better either, both dominated by nerves

Wow this has been shit. I've switched to watching man utd v Liverpool from 2009 on sky sports 2. This is the match we lost 4-1 but feck me what a team we had!!

Rio, vidic, scholes, giggs, Rooney, ronaldo, tevez, berba

Can both sides get promoted and Leeds stay in the championship ?

Has a Fulham win written all over it

Won't pretend I watched any of their games pre-coronabreak but I think too many people are basing their opinion on these teams on this game alone. This showing here doesn't reflect how they'd fare in the PL next season imo.

Yeh people seem to forget that finals are very cagey affairs the majority of the time. Exciting finals are exceptions to the rule.

Wake me up when the penalty shootout starts.

Just read that Brentford doesn't have a youth academy, what the feck.

That's what I think too. It's easy to pin it on a lack of quality, but it's two Championship teams, and both teams has played much better against Championship teams this season.

Quality or a lack thereof doesn't even come into play for me here.

Brentford's LB is the one I've been most impressed with. Strong in defense and quick going forward.
Fulham's LCB can pass a ball.
