And the man who actually broke the story of our pursuit of De Jong, broke the pictures of our team in Spain for talks was ‘as clueless as the rest of us?’

And of course, Frenkie de Jong isn’t the only footballer in the world or that concerns Barcelona. He literally broke the news that Koundé was going to Barcelona instead of Chelsea. He was spot on concerning Raphinha. Folk on the net find it way too easy to rubbish professional journalists when it comes to transfers due to emotional investment.
 
I'm out, not even gonna bother with Chase with a vengeance or Live free or Chase Frenkie.


I'll wait for the one where he ends up in Chernobyl.
 
Could explain why we didn't pursue Rabiot but it seems highly unlikely
 
On one hand he'd basically complete the first choice midfield (the depth would still be bang average) and would be managed by someone who knows how to get the best out of his abilities.

On the other he clearly doesn't want to be here.

So what about the £17m in deferred wages that they tried to wriggle out of last year - they are as skint as usual so highly unlikely that’s been settled.

This has all the feeling of a smoke-out for Chelsea to sell us Mount…

So when are the first quotes coming from Frenkie that he wants to stay and win more titles with this team gonna come?

I don't think United want De Jong and De Jong definitely does not want United.

The time to move on is well overdue.

Yeah beats all of them,however no way am I ever getting invested again after last summer saga. The Nou Camp could be burning and he still clings on for dear life. Don't even get me started on Mikky's love of the Barca lifestyle either
 
Every transfer window Xavi and the canteen ladies do their best to scare him away. They laugh at him, put plastics in his soup, post photoshopped pics of him as a meme in their chat groups and ban Mikki from coming to Camp Nou.

But once its all done and theres no club stupid enough to pay whats being demanded, they help pick up Mikki in a Lambo every week, give him extra portions of soup and Xavi does his best Pep "My precious" impression in every training session.

I would actually have confidence if this was a tier 1 source for any other player, however we know this guy can't help but declare his love for Barca so it's irrelevant how reliable this journo is
