yes, but then you also like Arsenal...so you're opinion is both irrelevent and invariably wrong.

:tard::p

Nah, he is. How many other players would be 15-40 down, and have a line judge call one of your opponents shots out to put you to 30-40 and in with a shot, only to tell the umpire that it was infact out and give away the game? Roddick has done it before, but not many others.

He's a classy guy and a very, very good player.

Bloody irritating this Nadal is, certainely needs to get some decent shorts like real players wear instead of those homo pants. If he would cut out that pathetic celebrating after every point it would be good as well. If he did that, one might be able to respect him.

Still a disgusting baseline player though with a two hand back-hand..

Puerta is a druggie though, so Nadal is the better option.

Agreed. Nadal has many irritating mannerisms(akin to Hewitt) and his retrieving game is quite dull. And of course he gets that big at 18 naturally. :wenger:

Sad federer couldnt do it. He could not have been any unluckier against nadal. At crutual moments the let court went against him, and that stupid fecker from the crowd. But he didnt play the best either. Missing easy forhands.. especially the off forhand. Just too many errors.

I just cant see what this nadal hype has been all about. Apart from the age of course. I mean, hes good, he doesnt make many mistakes, but i dont see him having a dominant game at all. More like hewwit, the running around like a dog all day long, with a bit more skill and power. As in, id expect federer on form to swat him away. Or even the likes of roddick or safin in particular.. on other surfaces.

Yeah...an absolute pleasure to watch...which is why I like both of them. Federer will probably retain Wimbledon this year and Justine will hopefully regain it...she's probably the best player around in the WTA - despite her ranking...that's due to her illness and knee injury - she has the most flair and is an intelligent player. Earlier, she wasn't powerful enough and used to get overpowered by the Williams and the likes....that's not the case any more..it's not hard for her to counter the tactics of any player, no matter how diverse her style of play is......she's worked on her service and hits hard, too - that backhand is the most beautiful backhand I ever saw.

As for Federer...he's the most talented, the most intelligent and the most consistent players of this era. Clay's not his strongest surface, which was why I was hoping he'd win this year...don't know how many more chances he'll get..but hopefully next year. He's the best by far on grass and hard court...the only person who comes close is Marat Safin...in terms of talent, I think Safin is almost as good as Federer...but Safin gets distracted far too easily and is much too inconsistent....another player I like though. Lleyton Hewitt works very hard, but isn't as talented as those two...but I like the fact that he plays with a lot of heart in his game...though I think he's a twat. As for Roddick...he's still a bit childish, really.
yeah, but think about it.. federers about 24( i think).. got another 7 years or so to go. And no matter what surface hes usually around in the semis in most grandslams.. And hes shown this year that he can beat most of the clay court specialists easily.. like he did with coria in one of the pre-french open tournaments.

Alot depends on how well he does in other grandslams over the years. If he goes through a bit of a lull.. then he will probabily concentrate more of his preferred surfaces. But if his success continues, hel have this burning desire to win on all surfaces.

And i agree abt safin. In terms of talent hes the only other player who can match federer. Usually if federer has a good day, his opponent just doesnt stand a chance. Safin IMO would still give him a good game. Thats why i dont understand the nadal hype. Doesnt look like he has a very dominant game like people like safin,federer or roddick.
