Fredi sounds Fredge in English. Is not Freddy.
Is it pronounced Fredge or Fredgie ?
Both sound the same to me. The first one looks more precise.
But due to some cultural characteristics is not considered offensive if people from other countries adapt your name to their idiom. So fans should just say Fred in the anglo way.

Fred is a great player, i really like him but him joining United really does not fill my with excitement. When Sanchez joined, i was on the edge of my seat but that quickly soured as our style of play clearly didn't match. Fred would of been the same, i was super jealous in Jan that he was heavily linked with City. My point is simple and I really don't expect people to agree, but any player who has any flair like Sanchez and Fred just don't fit JM style. I ain't bashing Jose, believe me I'm past that. He is here to stay for at least another year. Fred will say that now of course. Can understand if he preferred City initially, Champions and he's got some Brazilian teammates there.
In any case, midfielders like him are a dime a dozen so I doubt City is crying overmuch. Let's focus on building a team and a system to properly challenge them.

Never said that. I said it is easier to shop for quality midfielders in the market. Fred, Jorginho, etc --- not difficult to get quality. So if you miss one, you don't need to worry too much.
In comparison, it is more of a headache finding a quality striker or CB.
