Apparently in line for the Coventry job. Think that would be a good move actually. They shouldn't be in any trouble with relegation despite current league position so will be able to measure him a bit better I think.
Unfortunately I think he needs to do a Neville and hold his hands up and accept management isn't for him.

It's a shame as contrary to popular belief there was some promising early signs but instead of the promise overruling the greenness as time went on the total opposite happened.

I'm starting to believe Frank is actually behind Silent Witness's account.

No but seriously he always seems to be right on top of the Lampard news,

It's actually me, Christine Lampard, formerly of The One Show fame and now presenting Loose Women and the Not Just Football podcast on the Overlap.

Lampard doesn't strike me as that type of guy. Seems like he's going to flog the management route until there's nothing left aka this job if it goes tits up.

Feels like a Rooney/Birmingham situation.

Coventry fans are furious that Robins was sacked, he'd be going in with everything to prove and the crowd already against him.

Mental that clubs ditch managers for big names with nothing of note in their cv

Exciting opportunity for him. Another group of players to blame for his failings.
 Imagine the sinking feeling knowing that he’s here to run morale into the floor before getting binned. The fans, the players united as one, in melancholy.

Haven't Coventry been through enough in recent history without burdening them as a sacrificial lamb to the GSCE level Latin footballing deity that is Frank Lampard?

Do Coventry want to get relegated?

Is there really no up and coming manager from League One they could recruit?

Dave Challinor seems to be doing good work at Stockport. 49 years-old so maybe not up and coming.

Been pretty much neck and neck with Wrexham over the past 3 years, slightly outdoing them on the way from the Conference to League One. He's had money I think, but not on their level.

Won the Conference title over them in 21/22, Wrexham failed in the playoffs. Finished 4th in League Two (playoffs) in 22/23 as Wrexham won the Conference. Won League Two last season, Wrexham runners up.

Wrexham with the edge this season 3rd v 6th, but going well again.

Did well at Hartlepool, got them promoted back to the football league and had a successful run at Fylde when they were bankrolled big time.

Would love Lampard to go to Coventry.

Mostly because my boys Wycombe's manager Bloomfield was linked.
He's got us top of league 1, ahead of 15m on a player Birmingham.

So go for the big name Coventry, a big club like you need a big name.
