He knows the league. He’ll know how to navigate tricky little roadblocks like that. They only have 7 more games to play
Has relegation battling experience too.He knows the league. He’ll know how to navigate tricky little roadblocks like that.
He’s a man for every season. And not just in the sense that he seems to be Chelsea manager every season.Has relegation battling experience too.
Knight Rider would have done a better job.Shawn Ryder would have done a better job.
Has a caretaker manager taking charge for just a small part of the season ever been sacked? What's the point
Not all Chelsea managers have played RM twice in their first four matches though to be fair.Officially the only ever Chelsea manager to start a tenure with four straight defeats. Elite achievement.
More importantly he knows the club. +5 points for that aloneHe knows the league. He’ll know how to navigate tricky little roadblocks like that.
We were told Frank was the sensible appointment till the end of the season.LLLL

Should have stayed longer at Derby to polish his skills, maybe he could have become a half decent lower PL teams manager.
The financial situation at Derby meant that he got out at the right time.
The mistake he made was taking on Everton after Chelsea.
What gave it away? They only have 7 more games to play (pretty sure you're wumming here)
Only way I can see Chelsea winning a game right now is if your final few fixtures are dead rubbers and opposition has nothing to play for. I felt the same as a Man Utd fan after the first couple of fixtures this season, I couldn't see where the next result was coming.Data based hiring eh ?
Brentford, Bournemouth and Forest the games we can hope of getting points.
If we didn't win another game this season it wouldn't surprise me at all...
Or perhaps we shouldn’t have fired Potter? He has the easiest job in football. It literally doesn't matter what happens until the end it the season. Maybe they shouldn't have hired anyone and just picked 11 players at random each game?

Albert the Kitten Man would have done a better job.Rangnick should have been. I'd have let Albert the kitman have the job before him.
I know I tease you a bit with this, but it's all in jest, just want to clarify I just honestly don't see anything about Lampard that gives me the impression he's made for management, no style of play, no decisiveness, an incapacity to take any accountability for his own shortcomings... He comes across as very arrogant and entitled, in my view, and I don't think those are great qualities in a business where constant improvement is needed.Nah. If anything, his Everton tenure this season is more reflective of him being a bad manager than this chelsea stint.
He'll probably get them in a relegation fight, avoid the drop, and the media will make it out as some kind of managerial success, just like at Everton.Has relegation battling experience too.
Or that, but you did fire Potter.Or perhaps we shouldn’t have fired Potter?

Speaking of Costa, it's gone under the radar that Wolves are at The Emirates on the last day. That game is completely wiped from my memory, most of that season is really. I have zero recollection of Costa scoring that goal. I know we turned up and scuppered Tottenham’s hopes that season too, one of the only memorable things from that season.
Yet gets off lightly compared to Ole
Because you're a bigger club so you get more attention for good and bad.Dayum, what really sticks out other than a sea of losses is the fact his team has only scored more than 1 goal in just one of those games!
Ole used to get slaughtered by the media for significantly better results nowhere near as bad as Frank’s. Yet you barely hear a word about Frankie.
Ffs that's incredibly bad
Yet gets off lightly compared to Ole
Does he? Or does ole get more criticism on here because its a united forum, Frank's mates in the media defend him but so did Ole's when he was here
He does get off a little lighter, but as bad as Frank is as a manager, he is well spoken in front of a camera. Ole was nowhere near that comfort level. I think that is the difference. For what its worth, I think Ole was a better manager than Frank, but would not want either of them.
