Apparently Dyche gave out anonymous questionnaires for the players so he could understand what they thought had gone wrong.
Pretty much confirmed this post match by saying he’d appreciated their honesty and understood many had felt let down by the previous manager and staff (quite something to publicly put the boot in to Lampard I felt)
Any ideas what could have gone on or any rumours going round?

Has nothing leaked from the club yet? Usually these things do, especially with Dyche being so openly critical of him.
I am drinking, but I thought Dyche said that some players felt they had let the previous manager and staff down, not vice versa?

Just been watching a podcast with Iwobi talking about Dyche, Lampard etc. From what he is saying it feels like there is a more clear boundary between manager and players with Dyche. Sounds like Lampard is still a bit 'matey'.

I don't think specifically would make a huge difference to performances. Different managers have different approaches. I can imagine someone like Dyche is a bit more militant about having a specific structure in place. Conte was like that at Chelsea, came in and set up all sorts of rules he expected everyone to adhere to. I can imagine Ancelotti is less like that and more personable.
Seen players say they don’t like the school teacher approach.
While I agree the way he inferred some of his comments also led you to believe that Lampard was a bit more relaxed in ways that went beyond social and personal I.e on the training pitch. I think Dyche seems firm in the way he applies his methods and wanting you to work hard but he also has a lot of banter to him. I think there is a fine line that perhaps Lampard still needs to hone which will come with maturity and experience in management.
Its very Chelsea-like if he goes on to win the Champions League now

Tbf he's been sacked before he's even started hasn't he? He's only got 10 games or so and then they'll go in for Nagelsmann or whoever the flavour of the month is.
pretty much. If there was the slightest intention to give it to him long term, we'd just give him a 12-18 month deal off the bat. I posted in another thread that either the new manager is sorted, but arrives in May/june. Or the interview process is going to be so drawn out, that an interim makes more sense for now
I think Boehly is on drugs. The stress of owning Chelsea must have gotten into him. Wouldn't surprise me if he chooses Di Matteo after Lampard.
Honestly, if this is the alternative, why wouldn’t you at least let Potter until the end of season and see if things improve? Potter would be a better interim for someone than Lampard is for Chelsea.
Not sure about that. They need a bit of energy and to put some of their chances away more than anything. Lampard seems to be quite a decent motivator and he can't be a worse forward coach than Potter. It's quite funny but I don't think it's an awful move. Chelsea are quite lucky to have someone like that on standby really.
