It was a bit like Scholes' shot last night, went on a run from wide to inside past a couple of defenders, space opened up for him so he took a crack from about 3 yards outside the area and it went straight in the bottom corner to the keeper's left. Great goal. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

BRAVO! who are we playing?

fecke me! He's scored again! Fortune hits an over the top ball, Forlan times the run well and hits a shot into the same spot as he scored the last from, another great goal and finish.

Its against Blackburn mate, away.

BTW Line-up:

Ricardo
Roche May Tate Tierney
Chadwick Phil Richardson Fortune
Muirhead Forlan

Richardson missed a penalty earlier btw. And Ricardo has made a couple of great saves.

He's as good at long passes as Beckham too, and I mean Beckham playing well, not as he is now. His cross field passes are very accurate.

A backpass was speedily intercepted by Forlan who took it past the outcoming keeper with his first touch and rolled it into the empty net.

Hmm dunno, didn't catch the name. I'll listen out for it - the full squad btw and preview is in the Youth Reports thread.

How much would ya have paid? Shall I record the rest? He looks like getting more. :D

I think our friend Diego is a little confused about the meaning of the words reserves and Premier Leauge and the differences between them...
someone tell him he's saving all the goals for the wrong competition

He's been desperate since scoring the penalty to be able to start a game up front so he's making up for lost time!

He seemed so surprised by them all and a bit embarassed that he didn't really have a goal celebration, just looked very happy :)

Damn! While on the phone we scored another, but I didn't see it! Did just see Muirhead miss a one on one though.

Forlan gets his 4th! A tap in from a rebound - he's scored a great variety of goals tonight!

The floodgates have opened! <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Excellent. Hopefully SAF will see that he's gaining more confidence and give him some more first team minutes.

For f*ck sakes. Yet again some team picks up a scoring sensation bargain while we're left with over priced Van Nistelrooy's.

He's scored 5 this season now, including 4 goals in one game. Better than even the one trick pony. :D ;)

Better than that one trick Norwegian too ;)

Sell Solskjaer Now!

This thread has made my night ! I am delighted to see this. I know it's the reserves, but you gotta be in good form to get on the 1st team, and so, all the reserves will be pushing hard to prove their worth. My point being that it's a bit silly to say it's "Only" the reserves. So Forlan scoring 4 goals for United reserves means it will do his confidence no end of good. I swear I will always stick by my high opinion of him.

What do ya reckon Giggsysgirl ? Just the silly old reserves, doesn't mean much I guess ;) :p

I don't want to spoil the party here but it's just the reserves... all this says is that Diego can score goals and we already knew that.

i should bloody hope so, mr. thomPson; cheers for the report sir.

<a href="https://www.redcafe.net/news/story.php3?id=20021008210427" target="_blank">Forlan scores again and again and again and again</a>

I was wrong about his celebration, he does a double high five with a team mate. Must improve on that front. ;)

He captained the side, and helped us keep the clean sheet. It was an excellent performance by the team, Forlan, Richardson, Fortune and Chadwick playing well for the attack, and Ricardo excellently in goal, great saves!

he'll score from a open play for the senior side soon...at least i really hope so
