Todays 20km Biathlon (M):

The so-called normal distance is different from the others, in that you get a penalty minute for each miss rather than a penalty round of around 20 secs, so it strongly favours the best shooters.

Fourcade VS J. Tingnes-Bøe(JTB) @ 2,67 - Fourcade is not in his best physical shape, but is a machine at shooting. JTB has been really struggling with his standing shootings for a while now. Gave away the win in the pursuit with 3 misses on the last stand, also dodgy on first three shootings. Gave away a certain win in last world cup as well, missing 4/5 on the last stand. His team and himself admits he has a real problem, and the pressure will be immense today. expect him to miss 4-5 times, Fourcade will 99% certain do better, and might even hold JTB off with only 1 miss less.

Honourable mentions
Fak VS Landertinger - Fak is a specialist on the normal distance.
Moravec VS Andev - Moravec is a very strong shooter, Strong chance of 19-20 hits.
Peiffer VS T. Bøe - The older Bøe brother very unpredictable shooter as his brother. Had a good day yesterday, expect him to struggle again today. Peiffer solid, and normally in the running for medals in the world championships.

Also put a small punt on Sjåstad-Christiansen to win @ 30 to 1 on Nordicbet, he is a solid shooter and strong mentally it appears. Odds is too high on Nordicbet.

Taking Seddon in the opener at Cheltenham today 8 places ew @20/1. The SkyBet free punt going on Mullins/Ruby.

Seddon finished top 8 for a decent start. The winner City Island had only contested a couple of maidens and one novice hurdle before today he was impossible to fancy at the prices. Its been a graveyard for the favs so far. Long may it continue.

Damn, I need a time machine!

Killultagh Vic and Brio Conti in the 2:50....Followed by Altior all day long in the big one. Have Politologue EW in that one.

FFS, JTB nowhere near winning as I said, already out before last stand so could shoot with no pressure there. Fourcade horrible, should've stuck to my original plan to play field vs JTB @ 1,5. 2 out of 3 on the others, Moravec 4 misses shooting like he has gotten Parkinsons. Christiansen no 8. Peiffer won the f......, played him for podium first two races but somehow didn't today when he was 8/1 for podium (30/1 win)

Does anyone have any idea as to how the draw will affect the outright CL odds? Currently:

Man City 9/4
Barcelona 4/1
Juventus 4/1

I'm interested in the scenario where Juventus get either Man City or Barcelona. What will their odds be?
Also it's perhaps worth considering that Barca odds will be probably drop if/after they qualify tonight.

Over 1.5 pre match bet.
Had TAA to get booked for speculative in-play.

When it went 1-2, I put a small bet on 1-3. Cashed out as I can see another Liverpool goal yet.

Arsenal at just under evens to qualify tomorrow is too tempting.

It’s pretty hard to say. If Man City got Barca, then Juve got Porto, Juve would probably go favourites and Barca And city would both drift a bit.

Had some on Rennes To Qualify tonight. Thought the 1.7 a couple of days ago was pretty fair and now they're 2nd favourites. Niang and Traore both back tonight. Sarr and Niang is the fastest attack in Europe, pretty sure they will score on the counter and the game is set up perfectly for them. Just a small bet as it's mainstream but really like it.

Gone for Krasnodar to win tonight. They're not in good form since the start of the year but they're generally decent at home. No Parejo as well for Valencia due to suspension.

Could be a low-scoring game as well so I've gone for under 2.5 goals and a draw at HT

Thinking of Rennes +1.5 as well, very tempting

Defi du Seuil wins!! First of my treble in the bank. Now for Sire du Berlais and Epatante for a great day! Just need to make sure Ruby Walsh isn't riding any of them! haha

EDIT: Two down!

On Under 2.5 in China u19 v Salernatina u19s at 7pm. It's being played on a disgrace of a pitch, it's borderline a farm. Parma played Nania on it a couple days ago and finished 1-0 due to a penalty. Was about 8 shots in the game and every shot was scuffed as the ball just bobbled loads in the box so no-one could get a clean strike. Will be a game on it again in the next couple of days which will be better value as it will be a team with a higher goals Xpg than China, which has made it a lower price annoyingly. Think it'll end 0-0, 1-0 either side. Can always be random goals at youth level but it's a nice bet for a small.

Had Arsenal, Frankfurt, Benfica and Sevilla to qualify. Fecking Sevilla

Bet on Olimpia v Marathon BTTS @ 1.80

Watching this Sporting Kansas vs CA Independiente game.

The away side are one of the worst I have ever seen...

-1 handicap taken.

EDIT - Even with Kansas trying their very best to miss every chance it's currently 3-0.

In tennis, what's the procedure to determine who serves first? Coin toss, and winner picks?

Apparenltly, betting companies are sure that Nadal will serve first tonight, and I'm interested in how sure is that?

It's a coin toss. Completely random.

I've jumped on this...

They appear quite certain Nadal will serve first, otherwise, weird odds, at least for first two options.

Or is Nadal actually that big of a favourite?

Nadal is big favourite, the courts have been playing really slow which favours Nadal a lot.
But if Khachanov does serve 1st, those are pretty juicy odds.

Heh, yeah. I had first to two, three and four. Nadal broke as well in sixth, so last one is a dud most likely. First two still enough for nice profit though.
