Football Manager 2008

right, new problem, when i try to click on it, it says entry point not found.

You'll need to find an entry point I think

Not sure how to fix your FM problem though

please..anything will do...and do you even know what your talking about with the entry point or are you trying to make a crap joke?:p

I just want you and Hellboy to be happy :)

Jesus, people. These guys spend a year developing a game, and the only reason that they can do that is because we buy it. It's cheaper than normal games.

I can only hope that most of you are downloading it because you want to play it now, and will still buy it when it comes out.

Otherwise I hope next time you expect a paycheque, your boss says "sorry, we've decided that you're work has been pirated, so you won't make any money this month."

Mine says "The procedure entry point SymGetLineFromAddrW64 could not be located in the dynamic link library dbhelp.dll" any reason why?

SI will makes tons of money because they've spent a year making their pointless little adjustments that hardly improve a pretty flawed game. I'm just fighting the system by downloading it, it's quite heroic actually.

right hellboy, ive downloaded that daemon thing, what next? still saying the same error.

Only 7 files? Does this work? Seems a bit too small for me..

its the one i downloaded and it works.

basically football manager is just a database and spreadsheets, so it wouldnt be very big.

Fair enough. I just remember it being bigger last year that's all.

Daemon Tools > Virtual CD/DVD ROM > Mount image (select the cd clone) then normally the new entry point will appear

will give it a try, but i only see the daemon tools setup thing....nothing else after that.

right, when i try to select 'new image file' the downloaded file doesnt seem to appear...?

It doesnt open mate !!!!

right click > Virtual CD/DVD ROM > Mount image (select the cd clone) then normally the new entry point will appear

right i clicked on all files, now i can see them, when i mount it, im not sure whats supposed to happen, i can see the download in the corner when i click on virtual daemon, but nothing is opening up like i am expecting....?

When you click on mount image, a virtual CD entry will appear on your workstation, just like if you had the original one, you've just got to install it normally afterwards.

Ben it may be easier if you just go down to a shop and buy it.

yes maybe.

Hellboy when i clicked on it through daemon, it said please wait, then timers came on so it looked like it was loading up and then nothing happened.

no, there is no reason for that

the image that you originally mount before installing the game is what you've normally downloaded.

i have messed with the file and everything like that so im downloading it again. its on 40% already. Are craked games always quite quick. And step by step what do i do when its downloaded. Do i open it in winrar first...etc.? :)

You...

1. Turn off your laptop.
2. Go to bed.
3. Wait until Friday.
4. Buy it.
5. Install it.
6. Have fun.

This is a general Football Manager thread, not a "I want to break the law but don't know how to do it so I'm going to spam it until someone actually answers me in a way I understand!" thread.

Sorry but its bugging me now. I need to find out how to do it, and really its none of your business, so there was no need for that comment.
