Football Betting Thread 2017/2018

The bookies are giving Luke Shaw 8/1 for him to make the world cup England squad, whereas James Ward Prowse and Ross Barkley are 6/1 :lol: surely value?
 
Having backed Palace at 10/3 and 10/1 in each of their last two games, I feel duty-bound to back them again tonight at Southampton. I find the 3/1 on offer tonight to be quite generous and fancy them to beat a notoriously inconsistent (this season, at least) Saints.

West Ham, Spurs & over 2.5, and City & over 3.5 are three other selections I'm going with tonight, also.
 
Betting on Spurs -1, 1.5 @2.14. It's a bit iffy as Kane is on the bench and Lorente is starting but Spurs have had a weeks rest while Swansea played 3 days ago. Also Spurs in good form atm.

Which bookies are offering that? If he stays in the team when everyone is fit then I'll be taking that. Southgate might take Young instead. :lol:

Shaw at 8/1 is maybe worth a punt but it's still a long shot. Too many ifs for me to chance it I think. I tipped Joe Gomez at 5/2 a while ago and he's still very good value at 2/1 I would say.

Why take a bet like 10 corners for the qualifying bet . Why not take the most safest bet available and put big money on it

Over 6.5 corners in first half for in-play bet helped ease the anger.
 
I've been sent a screenshot of a bet from earlier which a mate received, basically advising him to back Braga to beat Boavista 3-1 tonight as he heard from a source the match was going to be fixed. The match ended 3-1 to Braga. Anyone heard anything more about this?

Nope, not heard about it but I find it hard to believe. If there was any significant cash on 3-1 it would get reported as a suspicious betting pattern. Also, fixing the exact score, specifically one like 3-1, needs a lot of players to be involved.

My over 10 corner bet came in, so I put my £45 winnings on over 15 corners, which came in as well for £67...there was still 25 minutes to go at that point, so I put it all on over 18 corners to win £97...there were 18 corners...:mad:

Couple of small wins last night on corners and Hazard to score anytime. Had Chelsea to win and Morata to score any time at 4/1 which was my big bet for the night....seriously how does he miss three 1-on-1's?
 
I have been doing another £10 to whatever I can get to, see if I have any luck this time. Trying to stick to low odds.
Bet 1 - £10 = £14.19
Bet 2 - £14.19 = £16.72
Bet 3 - £16.72 = £20.74
Bet 4 I just cashed out for £27.57, West Ham and Celta Vigo no clean sheet, and Real Madrid double chance. Nice goal from Son to keep my run going.
 
Been on one of those £10 challenges for a bit of fun. Had £62 on City to win today. 1-0 down and the cash out was £40. Amazing odds really. I've cashed out so they'll go on to win obviously, but FA Cup weekend, you never know.

Burnley are 4.75 to win and they're 1-0 up and its nearly half time. Absolute lunacy.
 
On bet 6 now but I messed it up a little bit, withdrew my tenner back and stuck the remaining £22.96 on draw/Lazio, over 0.5 in the Atletico Madrid match, Napoli win and draw/Real Madrid.
Didn't realize Real Madrid play tomorrow when I put it on, so now have to wait till tomorrows games have finished to go onto the next bet. Cash out is on £29.62 so might still do that yet though.
 
I'll just stick to tennis from now on. The football royally fecked me over today.
