I love Sacramento Kings to win tonight. Odds are 4-4.5 everywhere and they will be playing a G-League Warriors lineup without Curry, Thompson or Durant.

Gone for that but I went for the Lakers as well in the last game and the clowns lost to the Warriors

Durant played that night though. Green will be playing tonight but other than that it's a G-League team. Kings have been good lately and have already won against a depleted Warriors team earlier in the season at Oracle.

I went for Kings +6.5, Lakers, Toronto and Oklahoma, all in regular time.

Oh come fecking on, Toronto game goes into overtime so it's lost already. :(

Hope some of you jumped on it.

Truly bad night for me. Another double of Lakers/Kings out the window because IT is an idiot.

Still pissed off that I had Kings on two coupons and it was for nothing because of Lakers and Toronto.

Saw this when the game was live and Kings were down 10 in the first quarter, so I chickened out. Goddammit!

Hey Sarni, saw your games late. Toronto had already started but played others. Was monitoring the games on a live score site and was happy I didn't play toronto game when they went overtime.

Woke up this morning and saw Lakers lost 91-92. Damn!! Would have been a great way to start the weekend like last weeka

Yeah that game was heart wrecking. Lakers were up by 1 and had the ball with 36 seconds on the clock but Randle missed a hook shot, it actually went in, started rotating and fell out. Miami scored on their next possession and IT wasted their final possession. Very unlucky I must say and what pissed me off is that it means I get nothing for my hint about Kings win. It sucks when you are correct about 3/1 single bet but don't make any money on it.

Finally come to terms with the fact that I can't gamble to save my life. Closed all accounts so won't be frequenting this thread anymore. Happy gambling to the rest of ya! Be lucky.

I really have thought about it. Lost 300 (built it up from 100) at the weekend because I placed a bet on Juve to beat SPAL. Was trying to build it up to a thousand. Juve have scored in every away game this season (winning 17 out of the last 18 games), but the highest scorers in the league couldn't score against SPAL who have conceded in all but 3 games in the league. Literally the only bet I've placed on Juve this season. It's a mugs' game.

I don't have the bankroll to be doing management unit plays for it to be worthwhile, so I'm just losing money. Which is stupid.

You have to consider it as fun, unless you're really trying to do it pro/semi-pro.

I only bet for fun and to make games more enjoyable . It is genuinely hard to make money from betting

Fancy Shrewsbury, Dunfermline wins and BTTS in Crewe/Forest Green tonight. About 5.2/1

What happened bro?
I’ve not had a big loss or anything that’s prompted this but I was just looking through my withdrawals compared to my deposits and it’s crazy. I am obviously no good at betting so I’m going to cut my losses .

@theralyst I was in the final 2 of a last man standing at work and I had Juventus as my pick so I feel your pain. Everything I touch turns to shite.

@Jagga7 very true. GL to your good self also.

And the thing is, there's that one 'Juventus result' every day, always will be, which makes it bordering on impossible to make any money off gambling. Juve cost me on the weekend too, and the week before that some other 'banker', and the week before that...and so on and so on. I tried to make a real effort with it over the past couple of years to study the form, no silly bets etc, but theres always a shock here and there, so I've accepted now that theres no hope of winning anything long term and just bang on some daft accas for a bit of fun which every now and then might come in!

You're better than me!

I've been freely giving my money to the bookies for six years now!

Gambling can be very deflating when it doesn't go the way it should, unfortunately it's the nature of the beast. However there is money to made, especially in in play markets. Don't want to encourage something like gambling but I feel it's worth me sharing my opinion. It's ridiculous how out of line some bookies can be at times compared to bet365 and the asian lines, that's probably the best way to make money when it comes to in play. The likes of bwin and paddy power can be very slow to adjust their prices at times, you just have to be on alert and have an eye on certain leagues/games where there is money to be made. Finnish u20s, English non league and reserve games and Hong Kong reserve leagues are a few of my favourites at the moment. I sound like a bit of an anorak but I'm an in play trader so it's my job to know these things

Too right! Too many lives are wrecked from gambling and other addictions. Personally don't think bookies do enough to prevent the slippery slope....they advertise the "when the fun stops, stop" or "please gamble responsibly" but not with any real conviction.

I bet for fun but admit it is easy to get sucked into putting money on Venezuelan under 19 league games, or the under water wood welding championships in play and all the other random bets you can do. I sometimes think to myself, "what the heck am i doing betting on something i have absolutely no clue about" and walk away from it for a couple of days. i put £30 in a Paddy Power account over a year ago and it's at £120 at the moment. Its not really my money so all just a bit of fun for me....as it should be! if you are becoming dependent upon your winnings or chasing a win when you've had a couple of losing bets then best to stop.

Just been watching my £20 antepost acca for £9k drift into the "unlikely" bracket again after looking nailed on for months. Luton were as short as 1/10 at one point before Accrington decided to win 8 of their last 9 matches while Luton somehow only collected 4 points from their last 15. Gambling is a cruel game and can really kick you in the nuts sometimes. Don't blame anyone for deciding to give it up.

Is/was cashout available?

Didn't get any cashout option, think because it was an each way bet. Was considering emailing and asking for a cashout offer when the whole line was working out as about a 1/2 shot but unfortunately never quite pulled the trigger on that idea. Tricky one to lay off at the moment too since Wolves have let their lead slip and could also screw it up.

I am also much less active than I used to be when it comes to gambling, partly helped by the fact we can't really gamble in Poland - I can only Unibet half-legally and the rest of bookies come with 12% tax on the stake and winning which makes it completely pointless.

I actually lost over £200 from the £1k win last week because of a couple of bad results (Lakers v Miami, Philadelphia v Indiana) and I am waiting until Friday to proceed with any bet on NBA and it's probably going to be £40 maximum.

It's actually good and makes life better, at least I am able to manage my money without having it leak through bookmaker accounts. I had a few good one offs where I won money but most of the time it was near misses that resulted in me putting money on something else which prompted a run of bad bets and lost money. It really comes in streaks - sometimes you feel you can't lose and make £1k+ during 7-10 days but then it inevitably goes south and you lose it during your bad run. I would have probably lost most of the £1k from the NBA bet which is why I locked my accounts and put limits to avoid that.

I have a 40/1 double on Wolves and Luton to win their leagues, I feel ya haha.

Been on a good roll of late, today got Pittsburgh in regulation @ 1.83, Florida in regulation @ 2.2 and Flyers in regulation @2.05.

ML parlay of all 3 @4.16 as well.

This has not gone well, will have to take a small loss and go 2 sleep with sadness in my heart.

Hmm, good luck anyway, would be a nice win!
