What should we do transferwise?

  • Stick with original squad

Not a bad season for the Peter Crouch Society. Got in the top 4. I think we may be a one man team though. If we lose Harry Kane then we are fecked!

I was devastated that my club let Mascherano go for that laughable sum, but the 22-years old that succeeded him started in 47 games and assisted 13 goals from central midfield :eek: Also scored 2, but that's not really impressive.

I'm not sure how I'll cope with my squad aging though. Especially Tevez - my young strikers are underwhelming so far

The transfer window has just finished. £854m has been spent in the RedCafe League. There have been some major signings, the biggest one being Paul Pogba who moved from Waterhead Warriors / @P-Nut0712 to The Pupper Snuffers / @Red-Man-Walking for 62 million. Congrats RMW and sorry Peanut :nervous: that must really suck. On the bright side he only averaged 6.87 for you in the league last season so it's perhaps not as bad as it sounds.

Rogues / @Igor Drefljak bought Rafinha from Barcelona for 53m. Great signing imo. His stats are superb and he averaged 7.52 in La Liga last season with 13 goals and 14 assists in 36 games.

Pupper Snuffers / RMW also bought Julian Draxler from Cocaine Snorters / @anant for 39m. Not sure about that one. Media does describe him as a 'world class winger', but he didn't have the best of seasons last year with an average rating of only 6.98 and 4 goals / 1 assist in 21 appearances. It must be said that it's not an easy league to perform in so I think all the average ratings are lower than usual.

What the feck, we're selling everyone. Whats going on with this game Macern. First we don't get Europe when we finished 2nd and now all our players are being sold! Fix!
 
What the feck! They sold my fecking first pick to Madrid and Boateng to Rogues for (!!) 29,5 millions?!!! And I already sold them Mascherano last summer, I think.

While I signed Louis Schaub (who?) and a bunch of cheaper nonames.

Feck. Did my board replaced Conte by Arsene Wenger by any chance, @Macern?

Haha sorry, can't do anything. You didn't sell any key players though so you should be fine (most important player being Jedvaj who started 10 and was subbed in 18 times in the league last season). Weird that you didn't buy anyone though.

Was the same last season, we sold several and signed Fabinho and that was it.
 
Where do RedCafe Rogues find the money? Rafinha was fantastic for Barca, they signed Boateng, Suarez and Busquets, while not selling anyone of note. Bring on FFP :D

No idea why. You have a transfer budget of 39m so you should have enough for one or two players. Maybe Pep is saving up for next summer. Or maybe he's happy with the squad, you aren't doing too bad.

My biggest worry is Boateng though, the whole plan was to have Boateng-Neuer-Sandro core for years to come, while the youngsters would've eventually replace Chiellini and whoever is playing on the right... only to sell the best CB in the world (alright, second best, Bonucci is a monster in this save) to the title rivals - without replacing him at all :(

Yeah, I've seen the loan, was projecting on the future. Quite surprising that Conte loaned Lozano considering the sell of Dembele and Robben's departure to Barca - while even with them in the team he was a regular with good stats.

As for the second Lozano, he'll have to go through a Bale-esque transformation, I guess.

What the feck. It happened again, you're not in the Champions League. It seems like the teams finishing 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th qualifies to the CL and not 2nd for some reason. Happened with Miranda Rev as well.

I have no idea why it happens.

As you can see here it seems I've set up the rules the way they should be, but for some reason it's not working properly. I'm very sorry but I don't know why this happens and therefore I don't know how to fix it.

It must be said that I was always against CL. The RedCafe cup for instance is far more competitive and more prestigious to win, CL is a bit pointless imo. We'd remove CL if it was up to me but the majority here seems to want it.
