From overheating it??

It's 4 years old. I've often left it on for extended hours while I went out.

Safe to say they'd have no proof as I'll just claim I had it in a non ventilated area.
 
I played one guy once and he scored two penalties, watched every single replay while I was having one of those days. After missing 6-7 chances I scored in the 84th and 86th minute before scoring a winner in the 120th. I used every annoying trick in the book after I drew level

Very satisfying :D
 
I just started manager mode with United and can't make any bloody money! It's negative each game. How the feck is that suppose to work??

I have another manager mode with Morecambe and I make a tonne of money each match and they are suppose to be near bankrupt.

It's a bollox. Until next season(in FIFA obviously) you're stuck losing money, because you're not making enough money through tickets and sponsorship. Trophies should help this, and the sponsoorship deals will get better. Even then you'll barely make a profit when you're playing away from home. Stick with the players you have and save your money

I loaned out all the youngsters and am sticking with the default first team. Will that do the trick?

Sell a few of the reserves if need be. First season you'll be working with a deficit so it's good to have a nice chunk of capital. Don't think you'll have good stats if you lose money in your first year
 
Offer players new contracts and give them the lowest salary you can. They always accept.
 
Fresh off the press (or airwaves), we’ve just got news via Steve’s and Rom’s podcasts that FIFA 09 will be getting kit updates for a select number of teams! In respect to their close relationship with Adidas, 5 teams that the kit maker sponsors will be having their kit updated to the 2009/2010 season!

The teams are : LIVERPOOL, CHELSEA, NEWCASTLE UTD, BAYERN MUNICH and MARSEILLE.

Currently the release date for the update hasn’t been confirmed for PSN users, but Rom confirmed XBOX Live Gold members will have the opportunity to download it May 28th, with Silver members having to wait a week later.

As soon as EA confirm an official release date for PSN we’ll let you know. Cheers to Rom for the heads up!

who's gona care about their kit anyway. They'll be in the Championship next season and will probably be dumped by Adidas
 
What's gonna happen now with regards to the Live Season Updates? Are the players going to be stuck on whatever overall value they are based on the final round of fixtures? If so, United are going to be rather rubbish.
 
World Class mode is kind of fun until about 3 games in when it decides it's going to play every single pass to perfection, every header perfect, every shot on target, dodging tackles before you've even thought about doing them in your head etc... It's gets very boring very quickly. It's hardly AI is it, it's just the computer will lose the ball when it feels like it.

Also I find it odd that Curtis Davis can easily keep pace with Belhadj despite me sprinting and the comp jogging.
 
Just realised i'd been playing on World Class rather than Legendary. Played my first match on Legendary as United against Barca in the Stadio Olimpico. Keeeeeeeeeeeerm on United! :devil:
 
To give you a little head start, one of the players is more than a little famous. He’s renowned for changing his appearance regularly and for being the husband of a relatively famous woman. Plus he’s highly sought after in two different country’s leagues, neither of which is the domestic league of where he was born.

From the EA forums, apparently they've added three new players into the game. All from Serie A and one of them being old Golden Balls!
 
Ok, err I really don't want to read through such a giant amount of posts, but I've a question.

Why the feck can I not get a single quick ranked game going? They seem to never work, I've checked this out online and it doesn't seem to be a problem with ports or anything, just the shitness of EA.

Has there been any fecking resolution to this?

i had the same problem but when i opened up some ports the problem stopped
 
Right i'm getting peed off with Ultimate Team. Every bloody team has 99 on everything! Just because i haven't spent 30 odd quid on players doesn't mean that i should play games where i pepper their goal for 80 minutes, get a corner and then concede a goal on the break when Villa, Benzema and Torres come charging at me. Argh!!

Everybloody time!!

My Team is nearing 99 on everything, but it's all English Bar Berbatov.

And i haven't spent a cent from my real world money on players.

bloody hard work for some of us, but the training card system should be abolished completely.


EDIT: If you want a 94 Buffon, 99 Agbonlahor and 99 James Harper I will listen to offers :) all are 4-4-2.

I wouldn't be able to give you anything worthwhile mate. My teams is 82 atk, 87 mid, 88 atk. And i'm struglling to hold onto them, contract cards are running out.
