fecking hell Attacking Flair, ranked 131 is pretty impressive. The highest i've got to is 500ish but havent played in a while so i dont know what i am now... Shame we play on different consoles, would've been good to have a game.

Reading this thread has inspired me to start playing again, if anyone fancies a game on PS3 i'm up for it.

just had a crackinig couple of matches on be a pro as stockport against barca

won the first one 3-2 in extra time

and the second one 3-3 so went to penalties and we beat them on penalties

was brilliant hearing fully grown men being so frustrated that they couldnt even beat stockport
 
I was playing Be A Pro online yesterday, I really enjoyed it. I just get pissed off when the greed feckers try to take on the whole team. I'm looking forward to 10 v 10 on Fifa 09 :D

Do you lot use the "Be A Pro" camera angle? or the normal "Tele" one?
 
So what camera angles do you lads use in ordinary games? My mates were having an argument about which they thought was the best, Dynamic/v2 or tele.
 
Played my first couple of unranked online games today.

Every fecker plays United, can't be arsed to play the same team so I pick Inter
 
I don't even like playing with United any more. I use to play like this all the time...

Rooney and Tevez are the same speed on the game and usually full backs in top teams are much quicker than Tevez.

Now I just tend to use a team with quick strikers and quick full backs.
 
I remember playing against someone who was using Portugal. All it takes is to turn one defender and he's through out of nothing.
 
Played a guy who had Portugal, he only ran down the wings to cross for Almeida to head them in. The game ended 0-0.
 
When I use Henry, I have him on the left wing. That's for France though, I don't play with Barcelona.
 
What team are you mostly playing with AF?

I think Internationals are boring
 
I switched from United to France... mainly because you can make France unbeatable and I mean it. All the top people I've played mostly use them now.

That team is unstoppable. Even with three left backs and no central midfielders, I've managed to destroy people with that.

I used to get frustrated playing against people who use France but then I thought what if I used them myself... and yeah.

So speed is basically the most important attribute in FIFA?

Yes it is. One two passing + speed is deadly.

Evra is like the same speed as Ronaldo, so that helps when you defend. I try to make sure nothing gets past my full backs as it's easy to concede from wide areas, so it helps to have quick full backs.

It's not to say play Walcott or someone... but when you look at things most of these speed merchants are highly rated on the game anyway and have every thing else you need.
 
Does it get boring when you only play the same team for ranking?

I mean, the variation of choices in FIFA is the beauty of the game imo.

How many games do you play before the concentration drops?
 
I don't consistently play ranked matches any more though. I must have played about 6 or 7 unranked matches in a row today using different teams from Sevilla/Atletico/Villa to the likes of Portugal.
 
Jacob, i can't at the moment but i will be able to any time after 5pm tommorow....
 
When I played online I was annoyed at those who always tried to score from the middle at kick off. Come on, what's the chances for it? Turns it actually works. Tried it on a manager mode game. Came back from the bar onto the keeper's head and in! :lol:

That's exactly what happened in an online game i played yesterday. Their Toronto striker shot from kick off it hit the bar the bounced off the Bristol City keeper and went in! 1-0 down after about 2 seconds! Couldn't believe it
