FIFA 2008 Online League XBOX 360

Im in Australia :) but i can usually be online late at night if need to be. Moved my TV and Xbox into my bedroom (i live with parents) so if i need to get up at 4 for a predetermined game i can.

I'm fixing to sign on in a few if anyone cares for a match. I don't have my wireless internet device so I won't be on the internet at the same time so hopefully I'll get my first match in the league.

Its weird since I started it, but I've just been soooo busy. I'm off for 3 days from work so I should be able to get a few in!!!

Sorry! But, it only let me keep Man United! I tried backing out and going back in to play, but still United! Since everyone said 4 1/2 star I found a team so I guess I'll have to play with them.

I found out if you sell gilberto in the first season of manager mode they drop down from 5 stars. If i pick this team it techinically isn't a 5 star team.

Nah. By the current update a 4 1/2 star team. I am Juventus. Others that are 4 1/2: Lyon, Marseille, Roma, Atletico Madrid, Villareal, Werber Bremen, Schalke 04, Everton, Tottenham and the dippers are as well! They are the only "big four" team that aren't 5 stars! :lol:

Good match James! I also had a nail biter against Valencia! Nice goal by Villa, but dumb move by myself in the back!

I personally liked that shot by Iaquinta with his first touch off the bench in my match vs Zaragoza!

I suck and I'm 2-0?!?! How'd this happen?!?!?!

I live across the pond in the states. Anyways, I'm on from 3pm to about midnight GMT(UK time!). Hope that helps.

I won't be on today until after the derby in Glasgow and our win vs Villa! :D
 
Will rejoin tomorrow hopefully when i have some free time in the evening. Would be a good idea if we could keep the first post of the thread updated with who's playing as what team and the current league table etc?

There's no way of knowing what teams have already been picked when you join the league as far as i know so it would come in hand to know what teams are available. I did have Lyon last time round but i assume it's been picked now?

I've checked most your profiles and most of you are unranked on the leaderboard. My highest rank is 160th in the world and I have a skill level of 25 so basically I wouldn't be too hard on yourself.

Hmm I've only played two games so far and now my disk seems to be fecked up. Keeps saying disk error clean it with a soft cloth.

:mad: I hate it when that happens. Fortunately, I've never had any issues with games or my 360 like others have had. I'm glad, though I better knock on wood. Quick!

I'll be getting on later than I thought as I just saw the Real-Sevilla match is live on the tele. Hope to get a few matches in later with you guys!

not a bad game, don't think i did too bad, considering he was Valencia and i was Reading.

This is kinda unrelated but perhaps we could organize some 5 vs 5 games at some point? (there's defiantely at least 10 people with the game on this forum) Mix and match the sides every game or something just for variety.

The only problem would be getting everybody online at the same time i suppose.
