Yeah that looks really interesting. I'd probably have Casemiro in the middle and someone more physical at RCM. I was looking at SIF Luiz Gustavo, could put him there and have for instance TOTGS Dani Alves and Thiago Silva in the defense. The only problem is that I don't really like Griezmann. I really like Muriel, but I'd love to have Suarez there. He's a bit too expensive for me right now.

Not sure if I have the balls to switch team right now. My team is working perfectly well and I haven't even tried it for one weekend league since I went home for xmas and the internet was shit. I think I'll play with what I have in the upcoming weekend league and probably sell the team after that.

Changing teams can only keep it interesting for so much, because you're still probably playing the same style (and built around Ronaldo). Change kits, stadium, formation and play with 2 teams maybe. Not sure if you did any of the Futmas sbc's past Muriel, but Futmas Lingard is probably the most fun to use card I've used on Fifa in ages. Using him behind Martial and Rashford (and sometimes Futmas Ibra) in a 4-3-1-2, just loads of fun.

I've already tried most formations, and I perform far better with the 4-3-2-1 than any other formation. I play very direct and with super high pressure, and there are no formations that suits me better than 4-3-2-1.

I might make a 2nd team just for fun. I've got 70k right now, could get a pretty good team for that money.
 
I’ve just bought 3 players but when I go to put them in my SBC it’s saying item not found. Any ideas?

Have you assigned them? They don’t come up in player search until you “sent to club” or “send to active squad”. Can sometimes happen especially when doing multiple bids/buy nows

Yep. It’s weird cause I don’t know where the packs came from. I had 2 gold packs waiting to open but I opened my pre-order ones yesterday (and they’re different packs to these ones). It’s my birthday, do EA give out free packs for that?!

Some of the footballers have insane teams - David Meyler for instance plays fut champs most weekends.

Did he have the best versions of those icons that are currently out or the prime cards that haven’t been released yet?

There was a Norwegian league player who had his 95 rated player card up front with the 96 Brazilian Ronaldo, I think it was posted on the fifa subreddit a few months ago. If it was the prime versions you played it might have been an actual football player.

The former. There was no pro player card and there was nothing to suggest from googling his username that he’s a footballer. His team name was Israel so maybe he’s the nephew of the prince of Israel or something lol
 
So much aids last night. Lost 4-1 (rage quit) to a guy who had 2 shots on target to my 16. Everything he hit went in, all 4 were long shots where Perin appeared to not even fully extend his arm. Then all Mertens could do up the other end was drag shots wide, straight at Begovic or hit the bar. Or I'd get him in on goal and his touch would let him down. It can't just be coincidence or poor finishing, he was on fire before.

Sometimes your players feel like you're driving a nippy, agile car around town, others it feels like you're trying to steer a 44 tonne truck around a bend.
 
Does the Hamsik SBC ever expire? I started it last night and had nearly 30k in the bank but I'm now broke after only completing Atalanta and Benevento. That's despite the fact that I packed inform Lovren in my rewards for Atalanta. I'm afraid after pumping a decent amount of coins into it it will expire before I complete it. I anticipate it will take me a while to complete at this rate.

Won't expire. Also, it's better to do SBCs with better rewards (like Napoli, Roma) before you do the ones where reward price < price of solving SBC

Any packs opened on the 28th (when the last batcb of prime icons were released) have been reissued, as they hadnt actually put the icons in packs, only on sbcs. So if you opened packs then, you had zero chance of getting an icon and EA replaced the packs

Cheers. I'm nearly finished with Genoa and I'll move on to the bigger guns then when I can afford them.

On another note are servers acting up for anyone else today? I've been kicked out twice (once at full time) with a message along the lines of "cannot complete request at this time". Hadn't happened to me before and very frustrating.

Lost on penalties because that little arrow didn't show up which meant I ended up blasting all my penalties wide or down the middle.

What little arrow? the one to aim the pen, You can't use that in Weekend League or (Ithink) DKT but in Divisions etc... you have to press up on the d-pad to toggle between on and off.

You can't take pen's with it on in any of the Fut Champs modes. You have to learn to take them without it. 5 minutes practice on the skills game and you'll be banging them in easily.

Didn't know that. Might have a go before this weekend then. How is it EA manage to make penalties worse every year? They got it spot on with 07 and it's gotten more and more shit ever since.

Did not pack him. I don’t open packs if it’s not rewards or SBC packs. Only use points the first week to get some coins for trading.

I actually have used more time trading than playing this year. Easy when using the Companion. Can’t be arsed keeping it up now though.

Any tips you could kindly share? I've got 180k and I want to make enough for Pogba. I get elite 3 each week in squad battles which is 20k a time. If I could make the same trading each week I'd be happy with that.

There is a lot of ways making coins. I have done some iconflipping, if trading, investments for sbcs and nif trading.

If I where you I would start with nif trading. Invest 100k in your TP and expand as you get sales. 83s and 84s also rise a lot when there are totw sbcs.

Sick, I love playing with United players, just makes it more fun imo, dying for a martial/Rashford IF.

FUTMAS Herrera is class, shame you didn’t get him, hard to see any decent IFs for any of our midfielders bar Pogba. Fellaini’s IF is grand.
 
86 Arnautovich is class. Tried him as CM but the games passed him by a bit. Stuck him up front and he's so clinical. He's got 81 finishing but it honestly feels 10 higher.
