Echoes of Berbatov leaving the Spurs training ground before we kidnapped him?

If anything's going to happen with this lad, got to start happening pretty soon.. hardly any time left.

There loads of time, chill.

Arsenal got Arteta with about 30 minutes remaining of the window.

for you guys in UK, is monday night football with neville on tonight? if so, which channel and what time? thanks in advance.

Leaving at speed from the training ground...

translation: He's going home with reporters chasing him

thanks guys. so they're back in a week or a fortnight? i hear its worth watching. espn has started its own thing here (in the US) with lowe, marcotti et al. but it wanted to watch mnf to find out what all the fuss was all about.

If we sign Fellaini and this our only purchase, Moyes has really set himself up for a huge fall( if its not successful).
Signing Everton players as back up squad players is one thing but paying £25m+ for them is dangerous.

Big news from Andy Hunter
"Marouane Fellaini has just left Everton's Finch Farm training ground having handed in a transfer request to manager Roberto Martinez."

The dude on SSN just said "things looking up for United, etc etc spain etc etc, Fellaini looks like he could come HAIR tonight"

I mean, really? the feck? Give over.

Does this transfer request have any relevance besides depriving the player of a pay off?

So what does the transfer request actually do? Is the only benefit that the club avoids paying loyalty fees and there for would be more willing to negotiate over a price?

Herrera and Fellaini. If we can sign both, well - what a great midfield we have.

There were reports that the loyalties were yesterday, which is why he'd be handing in it now the cheeky cnut.

Provided he moved to United it would mean that Everton get to keep the remaining instalments of his sigging on fee.

Why hand transfer request now?
Because I think the issue with the Fellaini deal is that there is still a gap of 2 millions between United and Everton over the transfer fee (like it was reported earlier).. May be a transfer request will help the two teams meet in the middle?

Vinny O'Connor should know if Fellaini has handed in a transfer request or not. Get some info.
