That Jeff Buckley cover sounds like a kid trying to sound worldly. You really can't sing that song unless you've lived.


Perhaps that is why, despite loving the song and liking his version, I don't love it in the same way many do. I actually think I might prefer KD Lang's version.

One of the best and most subversive songs ever written either way.

I don't like that version but I know the Cale version you are talking about and I do like that one.

I can't watch youtube vids in work, but I am guessing ADTR is A Day to Remember? Is it you had me at hello? I've just put that on a cd I've made for a mate, along with Spoken's cover of Time After Time, quality song.
