Why was my other thread deleted?

Can I just please have an answer to my fecking question, why can I not search through my posts? It's not like I can discuss this privately either so can someone at least have the decency to give me an answer?

Instead of constantly whinging at the caf, why don't you ask the spastics who are actually causing these problems to grow up and start behaving themselves

Unfortunately until people stop acting like teenagers with first time access to the internet, everyone will suffer with a loss of privilages.

I did, in the last thread I posted, which got deleted so I never got an answer, me last thread got closed without me getting an answer, do you see the difficulty in me putting things in one post?

And Noodle, I don't know what you're talking about, and I have no power over what anyone else does. I'm not whinging, i'm just asking a simple question, if you lot would just stop deleting and closing my threads maybe we can have an semi-adult conversation. Is that too much to ask?
 
Oh well, now my other thread is pointless.

Why should I have to suffer from what others do? And forget about PMs for a second, why can't I search for stuff?
 
My search options are removed too....some problem with the site.

I keep getting them back randomly though

I don't have any control over what other people do either.

It'd be nice though, if people are genuinely fed up with this, that they tell that to the spastics who are behind it, rather than just whinging at us

Your search feature being disabled probably as something to do with your PMs being disabled, I would think
 
unfortunately we have no way of differentiating the trouble makers from the genuine posters, so until it all settles down everyone has a loss of priveleges. That includes pms and searching.
 
Well, you see, it's none of my business what goes on between you and them, ban them for all I care, when it starts to affect me for no reason that's when I care, which is sort of the point, what have I done since being unbanned to deserve having my search function taken away?
 
What, may I ask, is the benefit of removing the search function from people? I don't get it.

I don't think so, I came on here, searched through some of that loon zappa's old posts, came back later and couldn't look through my old posts, and I can still see who's online.
 
It's to stop poachers who might poach from checking out the history of people they might have an interest in poaching.

The same way a mod might look at someone they suspect to be dodgy and review their posting history, or someone they might feel deserves promotion, so they look at their posting history.

Except if we ban them, we risk losing people who may have done little or no wrong.

Frankly, it's amazing how pathetic some people have decided to behave recently. Their goal seems to be to ruin the caf for everyone, and what pisses me off is that everyone just comes in here to whinge at us about it, while they sit there having a right laugh at everyone

Well it's a cycle, people were banned, they were not happy about it so lashed out, people got punished, some people got punished who didn't deserve to and the lashed out, more people got punished and so on until we reach the point where anyone who posts on "The Other Place" can not PM or search whether they have done anything or not. That makes the people who were neutral and not taking sides go against this place and continues the cycle, if you see what i'm saying.

i really dont see why they keep coming back here to whinge about it though if they dont like it that much. Veng has given them a perfectly good board, why do they persist in coming back here if its so horrible?

Give everyone their rights back, have a link to R-R on here and a link to the Caf over there and just move on. No one has anything to complain about, if they don't like the rules on here there is a link to where they can go and vice versa. If everyone has the same privelages, no one has the right to complain about anything.

Thats only a one way win situation

The caf advertises and scores quite highly in the google ratings, ** to my knowledge does nothing bar looking for new posters on here. Why should Niall do that after all the bad blood that is coming out of that site? I know its not everyone but thats where its coming from.

It's considered acceptable behaviour over there, which if they want is fine, and I'm aware it's far from everyone

Caf doesn't want anything to do with it however, I shouldn't think

i dont believe so. It was created initially for a 'select' few, and the first rule of it was not mention it. Not quite sure when or why they changed their minds on that one, youll have to talk to them about it.
