Very similar to mine - only difference really being Kulusevski. So torn between him, Mount or one of Foden/Mahrez.

I think I'm locked in.

Ward (Foster)
TAA James Robertson Perisic Cancelo
Salah Bruno G Martinelli (Andrea's, Neto)
Kane Jesus (Taylor)

Super defence heavy but I'm happy with 2 of Bruno, Neto, Martinelli and Neto playing each week.

Not comfortable with 3 City defence... Walker out to James. I'll worry about how I'll upgrade Bailey later on.

Ederson
TAA Roberton Cancelo James Gabriel
Salah Martinelli Bailey
Jesus Kane

Can’t stop tinkering
Ward
TAA Robertson Cancelo James
Salah Kulu Martinelli Bailey
Haaland Jesus

Salah Kulu Martinelli Bailey
Haaland Jesus

That's my exact team. Main concern is having nothing in the bank and potentially getting priced out of moving Kulu to another option in GW2. Also concerned the Leicester keepers are going to be trash points wise.

Ha, that’s the exact same as what I posted above.

I obviously like it. Bit worried about Kulu, but one of the reasons I went Walker to James (funded by Ramsdale to the Leicester keepers) is that it means I have a free to City spot to jump on Foden or Mahrez before that run of City fixtures if they look good and Kulu doesn’t.

See comment above - I think Kulu to either of the City mids could be the move if they pop off.

Random question but what happens if you've got 3 players for one team and then another one of your FPL players signs for the team you already have 3 players for? I won't find myself in that scenario but just wondered

You can keep them but the next transfer you make must be to take one of them out.

I think you are forced to get rid of one, next time you make changes.

Don’t forget it’s a clean slate after the World Cup, so the early wildcard to gain team value is very much on. I’m not thinking any more than 3/4 weeks ahead.

I am also an idiot. So there’s that.

So not ready for this. The turnaround is so fast from last season.

Haven't even adjusted yet to the blue colour on the FPL site. It's too cheerful damnit

Yup I've got my eye on Saka and the City mids. The only issue is if any of those pop off GW1, you will likely need to make the switch very early to navigate the price rise.

Is there a redcafe league? Maybe i missed the info and it's staring me in the face

I'm going all out on a no subs team this year, well Pereira might do well for 4.5

Got Sancho, Sterling, Haaland, Nunez, Kane :) And Elanga could be a good cheap buy now Martial has issues

Any last minute advice?! This is my team:

Sanchez/ Ward

TAA - Cancelo - Dier - Walker - (Neco)

Salah - Sancho - Saka - Ramsey - (Dewsbury Hall)

Kane - Jesus - (Greenwood)

Mahrez being overlooked I feel
That's the problem with City midfielders. You've got Grealish, Foden, KDB, Silva (if he goes they'll replace), Mahrez, Gundogan and Rodri. Before they used to play with those midfielders as a false 9 but now they have Haaland I just can't see them getting as much game time as previous years.

That's also excluding Alvarez but you can bet Haaland will play 90% of the matches so not sure where he'll slot in

Ramsdale
Trippier James TAA Dalot
Salah Martinelli Rashford (Mahrez or Mount)
Jesus Haaland

Ward Neto Dunk Greenwood
0.5 in the bank to upgrade somewhere but I think I'll happily keep it in reserve and not rush into a transfer just because someone is going up 0.1m.

An easy swap in midfield to the <8m category.

I do think there'll be a rush for Nunez when he gets the start.

Lack of Spurs is a worry but theres only 2 or 3 worth having - I could get Lloris but hes shite

My wife and I have made our teams, after giving up about halfway through last year. We're determined to see this one to the end.
She has got Brentford's Mbuemo in her side and has named her team "Kinder Mbeumo", which she has only just stopped laughing at.

 , even the bench is the same it will probably change in the next 80 minutes

Cucurella to start, anyone? I dont know why I have rogue last minute thoughts to swap James out

Salah / Mount / Grealish / Cucurella
Or
Diaz / Sterling / Sancho / Grealish

I've got my front three as Haaland, Nunez and Jesus - Rashford is good value at £6.5m but I just don't think he'll score anywhere near goals compared to the others compared to the reduction in value
He's in as a midfielder, not a striker. Worth a punt I think.

Any comments on my team would be appreciated

Ward/Iversen
TAA, Robertson, Perisic, Dier, N Williams
JWP, Salah, Son, Bailey, Andreas
Haaland, Awoniyi, Greenwood

0 ITB

Thinking Conte will have a solid side with a good clean sheet potential. Just swapped out Bowen for Bailey and Jesus for Haaland.

Going Trippier I think. If all go badly then gameweek 3 wildcard and abandon Liverpool possibly or stick with Pool players against us and just hope we beat them with my fantasy team going to shit if I am happy.

Ward / Sanchez
TAA / Robertson / Cancelo / Trippier
Salah (C) / Foden / Martinelli /Bailey
Kane / Jesus

Is Foden too much of a risk...?

for 8m I think he is. Grealish I think has the edge for now
