Fantasy Premier League 22/23

My best guess is City go as close to full strength as possible and wrap up the league in the first game and then there's rotation against Brighton.

I then suspect first team again against Brentford on the final day so it might be worth keeping Grealish. It's just a game a week after Brighton and he'll want to keep his best players match sharp.

Ok so I have two options:

Option 1: use 1 free transfer

STEELE
Trent, SHAW, Trippier
Salah, RASHY, MITOMA, MAC10, GREALISH
HAALAND, ALVAREZ

Subs: Kepa, Isak, Botman, Henry

Option 2: take a -4 hit

STEELE
Trent, SHAW, Trippier
Salah, RASHY, MITOMA, MAC10, BRUNO
HAALAND, Isaak

Subs: Kepa, Solanke, Botman, Henry

Any tips @Sandikan @CassiusClaymore @Moby @paulscholes18 @Andycoleno9 @anyone?

Bruno will definitely play both. Grealish every chance doesn't
But does he outscore him by >4.

Would probably be more exciting doing the Bruno option.

Mate if it feels wrong then don't do it. You'll be more annoyed if you do and it goes tits up.

Think I'm gonna stick with Grealish. 2 out of 3 games is still ok and -4 is difficult to justify this late.

Alvarez train is leaving the station CHOO CHOO!!

I'm checked out for this season chico. On the beach both figuratively and literally.
You lot (regulars that comment in here) should do your own mini league and each chuck in a 5er. It's low stakes enough that you'd still dish out advice (I think?) but you'd have a hoot right up until the final GW with something on the line.

Got my final free hit this gameweek. Fecking hate trying to pick City players.

Currently going with:

Ederson; Shaw, TAA, Esupinan; Mitoma, Mahrez, Rashford, Bruno; Enciso, Haaland, Wilson

Obvious question marks over Mahrez and Enciso, with alternatives to consider.

Tempted to go MacAllister and Alvarez over them both.

I'm definitely in harakiri mode now after this Wilson desaster. Am 25 points behind the leader now.

Brought in Bruno and Alvarez for a hit and will captain Bruno.

Sell Salah and bring Bruno. Villa's defence isn't that leaky one.

That was original plan but then in the final week it'll just be reversing that... But I wanna have fun in the final week and leave options open, hence why I didn't want to do this...

Rashford a doubt. Bloody hell he is ill. I have no easy way to Bruno either without a hit or selling Salah.

Although if Rashford might not play I can't justify selling Salah who is like my best player ignoring the double.

Trouble is illness just means he might not play tomorrow. Effectively a SGW if he's out for Bournemouth.

Yeah noone worth using a transfer on under 8 million. The one is Antony, but not sure he starts all 3 anyway.

I have 3 City and 3 Brighton already and not even sure I want players from them as they rotate.

Yep. Definitely looking like a week where SGW players could massively outscore doublers which will be a contrast to last week. I'll start him and hope he feels better tomorrow. If he's trained all week then I imagine he plays if he feels better.

I've got one foot in the door. Just waiting to see what team my cup opponent has first. Would be Isak > Alvarez and bench Grealish for me. 50/50 whether to just roll tbh.

You think Alvarez start more than 1?

I think they go first 11 vs Chelsea and then rotates if they win that game.

Thus Alvarez get max 1 start. The best though is if Haaland gets rested so he start as a number 9.

I mean yeah that's what I think as well but I also think he's likely to get more minutes than Grealish over the 2 and he's more explosive an asset to have. Can cover KDB, wide and Haaland. Grealish has Foden and Mahrez breathing down his neck.

Right lads. I'm 6th in the work league, about 32points off 1st, but only about 20 points off 8th. It really could go either way.

Currently have the below laid out, doublers in CAPS

STEELE
SHAW STONES Taa
MAHREZ MITOMA MAC RASHFORD Salah
MARTIAL HAALAND (C)

This leaves a really risky Isak, Trippier, Botman all benched v Leicester.

I'm strongly considering Rashy to Antony. And I can't see much justification for leaving any doubler out, bar maybe Mitoma, on the risk he is benched v Southampton and then basically has a single v City. I'd start Isak instead.

Can't justify a -4 for Bruno as i'd have to find 1m from someone else, and how would they start as well?

Big late doors call lads...what we saying?

The niggle already sounded dodge, but that illness on top probably makes it a risk. Even if he plays he won't be fully up to it.

I'd be in. But I'm not sure its within the budget of @Dirty Schwein - I'm assuming he's also got other leagues to lose.

I'd rather have Rashford in one game than Antony in two. Roll.

Agree he is better than Grealish most likely since well if Alvarez plays instead of Haaland and got pens he got massive haul potential. With Grealish he rarely scores goals which is odd for City winger.

Have you considered rolling? Also, think Trippier can outscore Stones, who will probs get one game max.

Haha I'm literally about to splash £230 on my hair after sending this message. I love wasting money.

Stones is deffo a worry. But he's the sort who can pop up with a 15 pointer.

Feels like that time of season to be brave and find a differential.
Everyone has Rashy, but not many will have Antony. A guy who can double digit on occasion himself.

Or horribly fail of course, but still!

I've led my mini league most of the year, had about a 60 point lead until this week where I had an absolute disaster and my rival had a 129. They are now leading me by ONE POINT.

I have already used my Free Transfer to get in Bruno. I think I need to get rid of Jota to take a -4. So I'll be 5 behind before we start but he isn't starting for Liverpool anymore and I doubt Mings/Mee will keep a clean sheet so a -4 seems sensible. Who for? Currently considering Encisco, Martial, Alvarez or Jesus.

Gutted I'm only 1 point behind... any help appreciated!!
